A few hours had gone by, and Amber woke up a little in a daze and not sure where she was. Then she remembers, and suddenly, the emotions and memories come flooding back. She feels his warm body draped over hers. She feels relaxed, sore, and rested all in one. Amber takes a deep breath and turns to see Dominic’s sleeping form facing her, and he looks like he has a smile. “I do have a smile, and you are a loud dreamer, my love.”

Serena As I opened my eyes, Damon sleeping peacefully beside me. The room was dimly lit, and I could feel the weight of worry hanging in the air. Alexei and Ashford were nearby, their expressions a mix of relief and concern as they smiled upon seeing me open my eyes. I tried to shake off the grogginess as a sharp pain throbbed in my temple, struggling to piece together the events of the previous night that led me to this room. Damon stirred from his sleep, and his eyes widened with relief as he noticed me awake. A broad smile spread across his face.

“This is the safest place and you have work to do.” He gives me a look and i want to punch him in the face. Yea. I have work to do. I look at her and back. I walk her over and place her down on the bed. I crouch beside the side and watch her sleep. Even for a demon her physical body is pretty weak. We’ll need to work on that. I continue watching her. I want to be here when she wakes up but she gave me a task and I’ll do it. I kiss her forehead. “I’ll be right back.” I whisper to her and start to head out.

But what was really clear in that vision was no doubt the picture of a certain crystal. Before I could see anymore, I felt something and it woke me up. Next to me was Reiya and Melinda. Somehow I manage to turn into an incomplete demon without going rampage. Melinda was listening to us and stood by the entrance and only entered when I was about to lose consciousness. But the way she watches me, like I’m a puzzle she’s trying to solve, makes my skin crawl. I eat quickly, barely tasting the food, and try to ignore the way her gaze lingers on me. That night, I can’t sleep. The nightmares come as they always do, the demon’s voice echoing in my mind. “I will find you, boy. You cannot hide forever.” I wake in a cold sweat, my heart racing. The room is dark, but I can feel her presence nearby. She’s standing in the doorway, watching me. “You were talking in your sleep,” she says, her voice low. “Who’s hunting you?”

I did not get any sleep at all that night, I just could not get my mind off what I almost did to Ralia. It was almost dawn when I finally fell asleep. RALIA I did not have a smooth sleep at all that night, I kept waking up and falling asleep again amidst nightmares. I finally forced myself awake at Dawn. I again thought about what Lesley almost did to me that night, the I linked it to that nightmare I had, the one in which he did not recognize me at all and wanted to hurt me. Was it the nightmare playing out? Was the demon starting to manifest? I sprang up on my bed immediately.

He whispered and I fell into the best sleep I had ever have. At some point I woke up. I looked at the clock, 7 am. Almost time to get up. Two strong cool arms held me tight against a cool body. My entire body felt content. Safe and relaxed. I turned around, facing Damon. He cracked open an eye. “Do you ever sleep?” I asked him in a soft whisper. “We just need rest. We don't sleep perse, our bodies don't need it. We can lie in the same positions for weeks on end though, we don't get cramps or anything like that.” Damon answered with a smile.

"What? Chia, we're fine, we don't need any help." Alessia scoffed. "Speak for yourself." She let out a yawn as she rounded the sofa and took hold of Damon who swayed and leaned into Alessia instead. "Come on, sleep deprivation can kill men as well as female you know." "Okay, maybe just ten minutes..." Damon grumbled as he and Alessia were frogmarched from the room by Chia and quietly tucked into their bed, falling fast asleep as soon as their heads hit the numerous pillows.

Well he only does want he wants, before I could poke him or possibly punch him hard, his eyes snapped open catching hold of my hand in the air. "What are you about to do? Kill me while I was asleep?" He smirked. "Yes. But how do you know I wanted to..." I shruggle off the remaining question, it doesn't matter, I'm still mad at him. "I got three deadly creature inside me Kitten, even though I'm asleep, Dokota is on alert, if Dokota and I are asleep Don watch and if three of us are asleep Damon watch .Just so you know Demons never sleep, they're more active at night just like vampires and Wolf" He explained.
