My Nightmare Natty's POV It was morning already and last night was a long night. I never knew he was that insatiable.I lot count as to how many times we did it. Thinking about it, I smiled. I looked over to him and smiled more. He was still sleeping like a baby. I tried standing up but I felt pain in my thighs. I tried again but I just groaned. My groaning woke him up,he was baffled and asked. "Baby are you alright..."he asked in a husky voice.

"Mom, can you take them upstairs to rest?" Shreya paused for a moment and looked at Eliza. Eliza nodded gently at her. Shreya said, "Okay, Braint, Demarion, and Liliana. You should go to bed early. I'll take you to sleep." Liliana pouted. "Mommy, we're not sleepy." How could they fall asleep at this time? They had to help their mommy defeat the bad guys. "Go to sleep even if you're not sleepy," Eliza revealed a pitiful expression. "Or do you want mommy to worry about your health and not be able to sleep?"

“Look, Mommy! That one’s a horse.” I smiled softly as I stepped into the room. “And that one is a penguin,” I told them as I stopped beside the bed. “Can I join you? Surprisingly, the man had agreed to my daughter’s request without a hint of hesitation and the pair of us had laid down on either side of Abby. He indulged in her next request with a bedtime story, albeit a rather peculiar one. Not the most appropriate story for inducing a sleepy child, but Abby was listening with wide, fascinated eyes, so my mouth remained shut on the matter. It was past four in the morning when Nicole finally arrived at her Aunt Norma's house. She moved cautiously, almost as if she were a thief, careful not to get caught. Tiredly, she opened the door to the dark storage room where she slept. Her eyes strained to adjust to the dimness, the only light coming from an old streetlamp a short distance away. The pain in her muscles added to her difficulty moving, as if she had been beaten repeatedly.

She nodded earnestly, her little face serious as she scrubbed away. We then went to their room, where I helped them into their favorite pajamas. Zenith chose his dinosaur ones, while Zendaya picked her unicorn set. “Alright, into bed you go,” I said, tucking them under the covers. “How about a bedtime story?” Their faces lit up, and they nodded eagerly. I sat on the edge of the bed and began, “Once upon a time, in a vast and endless desert, there was a single seed. This seed was special because it had a dream—to become a beautiful flower.”

The close proximity in the small bed brings back memories of a time when our bond was different. The conflicting emotions of the present and the past weigh heavily on me as Alpha Dominic's voice fills the room. As Alpha Dominic's voice weaves the bedtime story, it lulls through the room like a soothing lullaby. The gentle cadence gradually wraps around us, and despite my efforts to resist, drowsiness overcomes me. Eventually, I find myself dozing off in Mathew's bed, the comforting presence of my son and the rhythmic and sadly soothing sound of Alpha Dominic's voice creating a momentary escape from the fact that I should be hating him.

he warns me. "You're not my elder," I say with a whine. "I'm older than you and more dominant, now sleep," he orders me. "Don't order me," I whine. "Then please go to sleep Mini, it's bedtime now," he says. "I don't have a bedtime, I'm a creature of the night," I sass back. "You would, Mom." Julie bent over helping her mother pick up her clothes off the floor. The rest of the day, compared to the after breakfast hijinks, was boring. After watching a thoroughly uninspiring movie on N*****x, Kelly suggested it was time for bed. Deciding to sleep in the master bedroom with its king sized bed, they headed up the stairs. After reaching the landing, Julie paused. "Mommy, the movie . . . your movie was boring. I think you owe your little girl an exciting bedtime story to make up for it."
