I sighed a breath of relief because I knew once the devil was passed out, he would be out for the rest of the night. My lids were heavy and sleep was only moments away. I entered my dreamland and dreamt of a different life for myself. I didn't get far before I felt a hand clamping over my mouth. My eyes opened wide to find the devil pinning me down on the bed. His hand groped my breast, and I struggled against his dirty clutches.

Much as she tried to explain, her memories of the dream kept fading. Alex sighed and pulled her in for an embrace. "I understand how scary it might be for you. Probably because you just fought your first war and you are feeling a little queasy about it. Just forget the dream, okay?" Selena shook her head and sat up straight. "You don't understand. How can you ask me to forget such grave dreams? The actual devil is looking for me. And all you can say is that I had the nightmare because it was my first time-fighting war."

“It’s just these weird dreams I’ve been having… they are messing with my head, Diana.” Devon had told me about this before. The weird pictures in his head had been keeping him awake at night. He told me it was a small little girl that kept on appearing in his dreams and was being haunted by the dark spirits that surrounded her. The little girl screamed and pleaded for help, but no one came for her. No one helped. She was forever stuck in that nightmare, always alone in a corner and covering her ears from the voices in her head.

Brown's heart was on fire, he shouted in hopes that Luna could hear it, but she couldn't hear his voice. “This is the dreamscape I created; it is our past, present and also our future. Dr. Brown, don't worry, I won't harm your Luna, if you can become my husband!" “Damn it! If you dare touch a hair of hers, I will definitely turn you back to dust. Don't make me do evil!" Brown growled. This is the dream scene born from the demon's mind, the resentment and the nostalgia that the demon creates. If you want to neutralize the dream, you must find the vitality in each scene created by the devil. But what is the key of life?

“Are you sure it’s one and the same?” “Yes. And I’ve been getting the same dream ever since.” “Tell me about it.” I shake my head at the ground, on the verge of tears. I do not want to admit this but the dream has spooked me. I clench my fingers in Helios’ hand and take in a shaky breath. It is time to spill my heart. So I tell him everything, leaving out not a single detail and in silence, Helios listens to my story. “Udbhava,” he whispers when I finish recounting the details of my nightmare.

It is when I start to dream that my slumber goes downhill. In my dreams, I chase the man with my wallet. We are in the alley, he has my wrist and my arms begin to burn. My blood pumps like lava, black veins wrapping up my limbs like vines and I screech as my skin sears. In the darkness, a handsome devil watches with dark blank eyes. He is unohaded by my suffering, even when I cry to him, the only bystander, to help me. I thrash about and try to pry myself free of the monster holding my wrists, when suddenly he becomes a bear. A huge, red eyed, demonic bear and he bellows in my face with yellowed razor teeth. I hear a scream thst I know is my mother's, and as I turn away in useless guilt, the

Damian's words echoed in her mind. Haven't even broken your fingers yet... She shivered. Returning to the sofa, she wrapped herself in the blanket and curled up, trying to push the fear aside. She pressed her face to the cushion. He's a devil... But how can a devil have a conscience? ... Livia felt dizzy. She hadn't slept a wink last night. Damian's words echoed relentlessly in her head-"I haven't even broken your fingers yet." She dreamt she was being chased... by her own fingers.

Helena's POV Chel couldn't believe it when I told her about my dream which is a continuation of my first dream. "Your dream is unbelievable Helena. Your second dream is a continuation of your first dream? What you are dreaming about is not normal anymore, Helena. Once we don't have a class, I will accompany you to a good faith healer to get rid of the evil spirit following you," Chel's eyes widened after hearing my story.

I couldn't feel her anymore and that scared me more than anything. "What just happened!!!" Neil demanded and I stared up at Sally in horror. "They beat her. They almost raped her! I can't feel her!! IS SHE DEAD?!!" I frantically ran toward Sally. She shook her head as tears poured down her face. "I... I don't know. Maybe she passed out?" she offered with anguish on her face. We all froze for a moment. "If she's passed out, can you do the dream spell?" Vic asked and Sally nodded slowly at first but then stronger.

"Is that what you think about when you're with me? Have you been blaming me for what they did this entire time?" Adom sent him a withering look. "If I did, you'd have been dead long ago." Win reared back, shoving the Devil away. "You . . . how are you like this?" he asked, voice catching in disappointed sadness. The Devil crossed his arms over his chest. "Centuries of living in hell will do that to a person, Win. I didn't grow up in your sheltered Heaven or even on this plane of existence. Hell is where I was reared."
