Dexter snarled at the sight of Mia, and Eros looked like he was seconds away from murdering someone. "Alpha king!" Mia dropped to her knee, eyes on the floor. "The elder has requested your presence on campus." The atmosphere dropped at her words, and for some reason, I felt like Eros had something to do with the growing hotness in the room. Eros hissed, stepping away from the dead body and facing Mia. "What happened?" "Someone was killed at the golden dormitory," Mia said, shocking me. "What?!" Dexter roared. "Skye Munroe," she said. "One of the strongest females in the Academy." Mia cast a look at me before continuing.

The DNA test Damian ordered proved she was. I told Mia what I was told about her disappearance. I wanted her to get to know me. I sensed Damian was her mate. He was protective of her. Elena screamed, her voice tearing her throat as she threw herself toward the edge of the pit. On the other side of the melting obsidian wall, the barrier finally shattered. Klaus Mikaelson stepped through the smoke, his massive Lycanframe completely transformed into the Weaver's supreme engine of extinction. His black-rimmed eyes were fixed entirely on her face, and he didn't hesitate. He lunged across the collapsing chamber, his massive iron claws outstretched to catch her throat just as the ceiling above them dropped a secondary avalanche of dark stone that sealed the entire shaft in absolute, suffocating darkness.

It was perfect either way. The large TV that was hooked up as a monitor was turned so that we could see it. “Dahlia was able to do a deep dive with the image that I pulled from your vision.” Dahlia was the tech guru that was part of the Dark Moon pack but also worked with the Supernatural Council. She helped all of us with anything that we needed. If something needed to be found, she was our best bet. “Your mother’s name was Sophia Carson. Originally, she was from the Danes pack out in Iowa.”
