Crecí fuera del país y, para evitar que volviera con un novio extranjero, mi mamá me arregló en Ciudad de México un prometido de ensueño: Gabriel Méndez, el carismático CEO del Grupo Méndez. Solté una risa sarcástica. —Soy la hermana del señor Blanco. Si hay algún problema, que me hable en la casa. Pero ella no se dio por vencida. —¿Ahora no puede pagar y se hace la emparentada? ¿Y hasta se inventa ser familia del señor Blanco? Envié un mensaje de texto a mi asistente: "Dile a mi hermano que o despide a esta mujer ahora mismo, o retiro toda mi inversión".

En la etapa terminal de mi insuficiencia renal, mi esposo le dio a mi hermana menor el único riñón que se adaptaba a mí.
