Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. She was in a cream coloured off shoulder dress which stopped mid-thigh and hugged her curves beautifully.

Where I used to stand and pray for the chance to right the wrongs done to me. “Think you need to get changed,” Robyn smiled. “I don’t think taking over in a pair of mens pyjamas really sets the tone,” as I try to stretch my arms out to jab her in her riding seat. “Oh and I left you sleeping at the last village. A shitload of rope and black paint and brushes, just as you asked for.” “You’re amazing, you know.” Allowing the horses to rest, Robyn grabbed a sack from the buggy. “I hope it fits,” she fussed as I stepped into the open corset, silver ribbons waiting to be tied to bind a stunning white and silver gown.

Rosemary After a week away, Ethan returned, and with him came someone I hadn’t expected - a tall, muscular guy with bright auburn hair (unlike mine, which was actually bright red because of this funky hair dye I used) and an explosion of freckles that covered every inch of his face. As Nathaniel nudged me toward them, I watched Grace practically sprint across the room and leap into the ginger guy’s arms, her laugh echoing through the packhouse. I couldn’t believe this was Dylan. He was nothing like what I’d imagined. They seemed like total opposites - Grace, all goddess-like elegance, and Dylan, with his rugged build, orange hair, and mischievous green eyes.

The silence in the room stretched until footsteps clicked against the marble behind them. Rhoda’s daughter, Rosie, stepped inside. Unlike Anne, Rosie carried herself with confidence, her beauty sharp and deliberate. She wore a crimson dress that hugged her figure, her hair moving in waves over her shoulders. She didn’t bow. She didn’t tremble. She only smiled faintly, as though she had been waiting for this moment. Red’s eyes flicked to her, narrowing in consideration. Then, slowly, her expression shifted from anger and hardening into something far more dangerous.

Speaking of Lina, Rosealba made a mental note to drop Lina a message once she was out of this shopping spree. “You will look…” Drystan eyes dawdled on the dress for some seconds his lips twitching into a thoughtful smirk. “You will look sexy in this.” He completed, sparing her a wink. Rosealba’s lips stretched into a smile. “Whatever you recommend,” she responded with a light chuckle, grabbing the dress from him and dropping it on the variety of clothes that rested on the beige color couch next to them. She looked at the heaps of clothes that rested on the couch and her eyes widened at how drastic they had increased in height.

"When the Alpha of Drogomor is done with you, you're mine. I will make you beg me to let you have your release, little… sister." I was so disgusted that I wasn't able to say a word. "Look at yourself, Rosalie!" He said as his hand pulled me into the bathroom by my neck and forced me to look at my reflection in the mirror. Only then was I able to recognize the beautiful white dress I was wearing. The strapless design revealed my silky shoulder, on which my reddish-brown hair lay. The elegantly embroidered bodice flattered my small frame. The embellish diamonds sparkled under the dim room light, and the airy chiffon skirt drifted gracefully covering my slim legs.

But this is basically my family and Rosie’s first meeting, so I wouldn’t want to leave any bad impression, especially being late. Rosie looks all good tonight with her an off-shoulder maroon dress. It is a high low dress with its front a bit above her knee. She wears a white high heel which makes her almost as tall as I am. I swear she could wear a sack and still pull it off. It’s embarrassing how I shamelessly staring at Rosie when I picked her up earlier until she snapped me out of my daydream. “Like what you see?” Rosie teased confidently with a little smirk lingering on her lips.

What’s more, he had even been considerate enough to hire a makeup artist for her! Sensing her shock, the artist smiled before saying, “The dress was designed by Mr. Robinson himself, you know…? He truly is a thoughtful man… Oh, and if you take a closer look at this darkened line, you’ll be able to see both your initials embroidered on it… The gems themselves are extremely valuable, and Mr. Robinson had to…” By this point, Fabiola was so touched that she couldn’t even hear what the artist was saying anymore. God, how she wanted to cry with joy, but she knew she shouldn’t…! Not on this wonderful occasion…!

"So who's walking you to the red carpet or better still, who's your date?" "A friend." She answered and places a pair of nude-colored heels on the floor. "A friend." We both echoed with sly looks on our faces. She rolled her eyes but smiled. "Yeah, a friend. He should be here by now." Rosa shook her head as she helped her with the zipper of the dress. She was wearing a peach colored off shoulder flared gown with silver earrings and necklace and a silver purse to match. Her hair which had been tightly curled hung loosely on her shoulders. Overall, she looked simple, elegant and classy.

Rob says and leaves. " God..." I groan and go to the bathroom. I quickly freshen up and put on the black dress. It's sleeveless with a V-neck that exposes my chest and even my cleavage. Who wears this. And it's shorter than i imagine. It has flay bottom and it drops few inches from my butt. I can't pick a pin while wearing this or i'm gonna show the world what's down there. This isn't even mid-thigh. " Ava..." Rob calls out.
