Else. Something. Darker.

The darkness is all encompassing and infinite,a vast and eternal thing that swallows us whole.We dangle in it's midst for a fraction of a second before we descend into free fall.As before,I can see myself and those around me clearly,despite being enclosed in inky blackness.We're falling through time and space,with no end or destination in sight. We're in The Deep again. "Aaaaahhhhh!!" A scream pierces the dark and echoes thinly,then is absorbed by the void.

Darkness rushed in swift and absolute. And I fell.

“We need to get out of here!” Sasha’s heart pounded. “Not without Kai!” The figure laughed again, an eerie, hollow sound. “He’s waiting,” it whispered. “If you can reach him before the darkness does.” Before she could demand more, the shadows exploded outward, engulfing the clearing in pitch-black. The world tilted, and suddenly, Sasha felt herself falling. The air was sucked from her lungs as she was pulled into the darkness, her screams lost in the void. She hit the ground hard, her body skidding against cold stone. Pain shot through her side, but she forced herself up, gasping for breath. The darkness had shifted. No longer the endless forest, but somewhere else entirely.

I pressed my hand against the light— And the world shattered. I didn’t scream. I didn’t breathe. I just fell. Fell through the code, through the memories, through the voices calling my name. And then everything went dark.

In the tunnel of a huge falling star, it was dark like a ghost area. In the deepest part of the underground, the darkness was thick like mud and it could not melt. The nightingale's mourns were surging in the darkness. "Hehehehe. Chaos. I smell the chaos' aura. These are the troubled times that the assassins are expecting. Is the chaotic time finally at hand? The spring for our Falling Star Sect is coming, hehehehe!"

“We need you. Don’t let it take you. You’re stronger than this. You’re stronger than the darkness.” I reached out, my hand trembling as I tried to focus, tried to hold on to the sound of their voice. But the darkness was pulling me down, dragging me deeper into its depths, away from the light, away from everything I loved. “Help me,” I whispered, my voice barely a breath. “Please... help me.” As I felt myself slipping away, the darkness consuming me entirely, the ground beneath me began to shake violently. I could hear the mastermind’s laughter echoing through the void, a cruel, mocking sound that cut through the darkness like a knife. “You’ve lost, Sera,” they taunted. “And now, you’ll pay

“It's not like that. It's not something you can get rid of. It's part of me; it's my other half. It's who and what I am. Don’t you see, I am the darkness! To get rid of it would be to get rid of me. I'm no good for you. I will only cause you pain and suffering. I am the darkness! I'm the monster everyone's afraid of. I'm the beast in the dark that children have nightmares of. I am the evil from the depths of hell and will only snuff out your light, little angel. You and I can never be together!” He said with a deep and rough voice. Smoke seeped from his body again, and a dark aura rose from his body like a shadow looming over her.

He continued to pull me further away from the hospital until we found a small park just close by. There was a blanket spread out over the grass under a huge tree with a bag on it. "Surprise," he said, "I know it's not much but I can't exactly take you anywhere far from the hospital considering your condition," he said sheepishly as we both sat down. "It's still perfect," I answered. "I really missed the Sun," I smiled. "Anything is seriously better than being stuck in that hospital room." Nick chuckled, "I thought you'd say something like that. Hence I made it even perfect by getting you this," he said and removed the whole Fallen boxset from the bag.

I don’t have much food left and I’m starting to have to fill up my water bottles in the sink. Maybe they’ll just leave me here to starve, I thought. No, they said they wanted me, they have to want me for something … sex? I mean they hadn’t so far tried anything but what the hell else could they want? I took a lot of showers, since it was about the only time I felt normal. It was the only time I could close my eyes and feel like I was escaping, like I was home. I had been asleep for a while, there was no way to know how long. When I woke up it was pitch black in the room, those fuckers cut off the light!
