Forbidden Mate- A Step-brother Romance Novels & Stories

I couldn’t believe it! But at the same time, I knew that Jeremy would never lie to me. He was my fated mate after all. One the Moon Goddess had given to me in a twisted and sick play of love and destiny. Sadly, we could never be together because we were step-siblings. A forbidden pair. __ My steps quickened as I walked into the large and extravagant building of Amore Gardens. I wasn’t even stopped by the attendants because I always visited with the Alpha and my chosen mate, Rico.

“I am your brother’s mate only by name, the fact is that what we have is not a bond mate, but something else. He hates me. So do you get it? We will never be sisters-in-law.” “No, Zoey.” she says and comes closer, and grabs my hands between hers. The thing is that I don’t feel any evil intentions in her acting. She looks sincere so I almost feel bad about this. I am ruining her plans. “I know my brother. He is just confused. When he was eighteen he really wanted to have a mate. He looked for his mate for two years and in the end he let that thought go. He would have rejected you if he didn't want you.” and the moment she talked about the rejection there was something in her eyes, as if there

I press call and take a breath as the call connects. “Hello, son. What do you want?” I growl out at her tone. “Mother, I need your help.” I tell her, and she chuckles. “Mate problems? Bring Jennifer to me and we can sort this out.” “No, Jennifer isn’t my mate, mom. Just shut up and listen to me. The bond was fabricated. Her sister Marissa is my fated mate, not Jennifer. Mom, I need your help. Send me the guards and I will do the rest.”

She stormed out, slamming the door behind her. My mother finally turned to me, her expression hard and unyielding. “When you’re done playing your games, remember we’re visiting your Luna’s family tomorrow evening. Don’t embarrass me.” I raised an eyebrow, crossing my arms over my chest. “Noted,” I said. Left alone, I turned back to the city, my mother’s words echoing in my mind. I hated the idea of a mate bond. Love was a weakness, a distraction I couldn’t afford. But even as I tried to push it aside, curiosity crept in.

The harsh lines of his profile were glowing by the passing sunlight. However, I knew the coldness that lay beneath. He didn't speak a word after we got in the car. My eyes almost caressed his face. His dark hair fell on his brows and looked a little wet. He might have taken a shower just a while ago. The muscles in his forearms bulged with every slight turn of the wheel. "I want him," my wolf, Ember, spoke from inside. I was startled, looking away from Trevor. 'We can't have him, Ember. He is not our mate anymore. He hates us, and now... he is my stepbrother,’ I said to my wolf.

I almost forgot the reason why I couldn't be with him. “He is my step brother. My mother married his father. We can never be together. No matter if he is actually my mate or if I am marked by him. It's just wrong.” I scolded myself while my eyes couldn't stop staring at him. I was breathing heavily as he leaned closer. He started trailing wet kisses all over my face. As if he knew what could make me weak.

"Since you can not get a mate, we found a fake mate for you and you have no choice but to accept" " A... A fake mate?!"

“Brittany, what if your mate is better than Jamie, you wouldn’t want to…” “That is it, mate are always lovely and they look perfect, that bond is confusing, and that is one thing I don’t want, I know who I want, it’s Jamie, I don’t want another, I do not want to get confused by the mate bond. Brother, please cancel my party…”

VICENTE As I stood watching Rose in my brother’s arm. I couldn’t contain the anger that coursed through my vein. I thought running away from this bloody house could make me forget her, forget the fact that I always want to see her, touch her. But it only increased the torture as I have placed my mark on her as my mate. I walked past them and walked to the kitchen cabinet and took what I came for fighting the urge to talk to them. “Vicente, I-“

So yeah, better talk about it with my Beta rather than sulking in the misery on my own. I chugged the rest of the drink in one sip and relished the burn. Thudding the glass on the table, I leaned forward and placed my elbows on my knees, “What should one do if fate finds a forbidden mate for him?” Settling in the chair across from me, Darius stared at me blankly, “Forbidden mate as in?” My lips pressed into a thin line, “Like…someone from the rival territory.” “Ohhhhh,” he drawled and then cocked his head to the side, “You mean someone from the South?” he ended with a wink.
