“Oh?” Hailey asked curiously. “What did you talk about?”
“Your childhood,” Christian looked at her. “It is like when you mentioned that your uncle’s forehead was drenched with sweat when you saw him sweat.” Hailey put a hand on her face.
“My uncle is not married and has no children. Therefore, he has always treated me as his own. That’s why he loves to talk about my embarrassing stories. I hope you don’t feel weird.”
“Of course not, I love hearing them,” said Christian, suddenly parking at the side of the road. He then turned to Hailey, looking serious.
