“I’m sorry, Liam. I don’t know how to sense them because I’ve never seen a ghoul before.” “Damn it,” Liam mutters under his breath, tightening his grip on my shoulder. “We need to get out of here. Fast.” Before I can even process what Liam is saying, the ghouls appear out of nowhere. Their ghostly figures seem to appear and disappear almost like a mirage, and their shrieking fills the air. Fear takes over me, especially when I hear a voice inside of my head say, ‘Purple-eyed wolf. I want to feast on your blood and take your powers!’

And she winked at me before her and her vampires disappeared into the night faster than we could even fathom. “Meadow. What the hell was that?” Arlo mind linked me. “I don’t know. She could hear my mind link.” I said. And I turned to look at Lucas. I concentrated on just talking to him. He wasn’t a member of this pack, so he shouldn’t be able to hear any of our mind links. “Lucas. Can you hear me?” I mind linked. “Yeah.” He said, cocking his head to the side. He was also trying to figure it out.

And that's when the realisation hits Zander like a truck and suddenly his legs feel too weak to carry his weight. Now I'm wishing I did. I walk slowly over to the door, pulling out my stun gun as I do, and push the door open. It slams against the back wall and I listen out for any noises that shouldn't be there. I can hear the television on but can't see anything. I walk a little closer into the apartment and freeze when I see a dark figure, one I'm way too familiar with, on my couch. "Close the door Annabelle." Father says while still staring at the flat screen on the wall.

While Bo has a shining white head free of even a single strand of hair and a short thin (mostly gray) facial hair and smells like golden spice. Gray is standing on the left side of a semicircle made up of him, Cordelia and Bo, with cordelia being in the middle, a few yards just ahead of us. Gray’s holding a long thick metal link chain in his hands, conversing with the two. Iselyn and I stop a few feet away, just close enough to alert them to our presence and hear the conversation.

My hot tears ran down her hand. "Don't speak his name. Is he the one who got you to do this spell?" I nodded slightly beneath her hand.
