“Sorry to let you down, but nothing to report. No cold spots, no mysterious noises, no shadowy figures. Just Phantom.” “Phantom?” “That’s what I’m calling the cat.” “Well, I wouldn’t get too comfortable in the house just yet. Maybe the entities need some time to get geared up after being dormant for so long.” Tilting his head, Brad scrutinized his young lunch companion, again trying to figure the man out. “You completely believe in all that stuff, don’t you?” “Absolutely. In fact, I have a ghost in my apartment.” “Is that so?” “Yup, a slave girl named Melinda.”

A Hotheaded Ghoul's Salvation

A Hotheaded Ghoul's Salvation

So far Orshor had the largest number of Ghoul Clan’s, the most powerful, dominant and resourceful being the Death Circle. After meeting everyone who lived in the guest house and being familiar with everything ghoul related she went back to her room and collapsed. When she woke up it was dark and the sheets were cold. She sat up, her light brown hair falling over her face. She groaned and pulled it back, tying it in a loose bun. It was quiet; the only sound was the gentle humming of the night that slipped in through her open window. She pulled her legs to her chest and the tears fell numbly. She couldn’t help it. It still felt foreign. Everything felt unreal. She couldn’t possibly be living w

A few of the more fragile pieces appeared, cracked or broken. “Eddie, I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened here. I don’t have pets for this reason. I promise you, I didn’t do this.” Hailey looked about the room and picked up a miniature Victorian sofa with its broken leg. She’d fallen in love with the little thing and now harboured the wish to have a full-sized version one day. “I know you didn’t. This isn’t about us. I think it’s between the spirits and the fae. There’s something very odd going on. People have come into the inn to speak with Gabby over the last few days. Many of them with messages from ghosts.”

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

A Ghost Cooked For Me

A Ghost Cooked For Me

It was a lot to take in. I needed a long time to process it all. My ghostly roommate was actually a legendary former employee of my own company. I closed my laptop with mixed emotions. “So… did the accident trap you here?” After a long silence, Nathaniel’s voice echoed softly in my head. It was faint, almost hazy. “It wasn’t an accident.” My heart dropped. Before I could ask for details, the voice vanished. The next few days at the office were quiet.

Ghost of a Broken Home

Ghost of a Broken Home

If you have any information, please inform us immediately. Patrick was so shocked by the news that his phone slipped from his grasp and crashed onto the floor. His bloodshot eyes locked onto Lily as he demanded, "Lily, did you hear what they just said?" Lily’s face turned deathly pale. Her gaze flickered in fear as she stammered in a weak and trembling voice, "Mr. Hart, Madam… Madam is… dead." Before she could finish, Patrick kicked over a chair in rage. "Go investigate immediately! Find out exactly what happened!"

REBIRTH OF MY GHOST GIRLFRIEND

REBIRTH OF MY GHOST GIRLFRIEND

“But yes. Now we just need the perfect body.” “That’s insane,” he laughed. “I still can’t believe you are seeing ghosts.” “Two ghosts,” I corrected. “Right, right. Who knows how many more you will see?” “Hopefully none. I have had my fill.” We laughed, drank more, and several hours later I was tipsy as hell. “I should go,” I groaned. “Long day.” “Same. Don’t forget Monday.” “I won’t.” I got up, waved Echo and Adrian over, and stumbled out of the club with them.

Whispers of the Forgotten

Whispers of the Forgotten

The landscape was alien and foreboding, a surreal amalgamation of shifting shadows and fragmented structures that seemed perpetually on the verge of collapse. The air was thick with an unsettling stillness, broken only by the occasional whisper of forgotten memories. Each whisper was like a ghostly touch against her skin, a fleeting sensation that left her shivering. The whispers were disjointed, fragments of conversations, cries, and laughter that seemed to echo from the very walls of Nyxterra. They whispered her name in haunting, fragmented tones, urging her deeper into the darkness.
