I'm going to get soaked, but that's fine because I have spare clothes in my locker. I was about to take a step away from the waiting shed when my wrist was grabbed by a firm hand. My mouth hung open in shock and bewilderment. His manly odor rapidly infiltrated my nose. His gorgeous brown eyes locked on mine. My wrist felt warm in his calloused and rough grasp. When I saw how much this guy resembled a Greek god, my jaw split open once more! His hair was dark brown and perfectly coiffed, and he had a high and pointed nose with sharp cheekbones chiseled down to his flinty jaw, which appeared to be sculpted and trimmed to perfection.

Zoe's pov. Carson quickly pulled me out of the room. I saw various bodies laying unconscious on the floor. "They are not dead, just unconscious" Carson said. "I know that" I replied. He pulled me in a hallway with many locked rooms. Hallway after hallway. Then a staircase. Then a hallway in the right. I thought we were in ware house of some sort but now I am sure we are in a maze. I yanked my hand back from his hand, "how many more hallways? " I ask crossing my hands on my chest

You, Kit, and the Kids will have Mitsuhide right there to watch over you all.” “What about you?” Deanna asked. “I will wait where you can see me but keeping an eye on the area.” Max said as he looked down to her as they neared the entrance of the Maze. Deanna took a deep breath and let it out as she took one step into it. She started down the paths and they could see how this would be a perfect place for another secret area. As soon as you get past the hedges on either side it was like sound wasn’t there. It would be easy to slip in to the maze and disappear. Despite what she had said neither of the men could see over the hedges either.

I look back and see Ruzzel passing through. I look at the two who run in an opposite direction. Ruzzel and I look back again hearing that very distinct sound of gunshots coming from a nearer direction. Ruzzel grabs my hand and pulls me as he led the way.

I simply followed. He stopped before a door at the end of a long corridor, a door I had never noticed before. It was wooden, dark, carved with runes that seemed to shimmer in the torchlight. Maddox pulled a key from his pocket and unlocked it. The air inside was warm and fragrant, thick with the scent of incense and earth. I stepped through the doorway and found myself in a greenhouse, a glass dome overhead revealing the starry sky. Plants grew in every corner, flowers I did not recognize, vines that climbed the walls, trees that had been trained to grow in spirals.

After all, jumping from window to window would be a lot faster than going down and up a flight of stairs. There were two games that Zen knew were good options to train his running skills. The first was a straightforward reflex runner game called Maze Runner. He had to collect speed boosts in the game to complete the maze level and avoid running into walls as he ran. The second game was a personal favourite. It was an obstacle running competition against an artificial intelligence opponent. While the game did not have many in-game elements, the controls and special animation effects were what made the game so thrilling. It was called Street Sprinter.
