I quickly shift and make my way around the other way, sticking to the shadows.
Staying a couple of paces behind her, my ears and nose on high alert, my wolf is more in the lead than I am, his need to protect his offspring just as strong, if not stronger than my own. She wanders around and seems to really enjoy the tranquility of the morning, the chirping birds, the soft breeze and I cant help but wish I could have shown her all this when she was still a child, teach her about all the different plants and trees, educate her on all the creatures that make this forest their home, how everything is connected and dependent on each other, synchronized and in harmony if treated correctly.
