An Assassin's Magic

An Assassin's Magic

Without having any of interest, Mayari just pick the shiny cinnamon shade boots with brown laces and victorian print design. After putting everything on, the maids then started to do her long raven hair. Mayari suggested to roll it into a bun, they obliged and added beautiful hairpins that Mayari didn't mind. "Now, that's more ladylike." Helen praised after Mayari revealed herself fully dressed. Mayari just stared at her in silence. "Just one more thing." Helen then approached Mayari and slid a white handkerchief with embroidered roses to Mayari's pocket. "Don't lose it, alright?" She told, "That is my lucky handkerchief and I'm giving it to you."

Prophecy Of The Lycan Queen

Prophecy Of The Lycan Queen

Then, with careful precision, she uprooted several of the thicker ones, shaking the dirt free before transferring them to small ceramic vases she'd brought with her. The roots still had bits of the purple flowers attached, and she left them there. They'd continue to bloom for a few days, continuing to release that sweet, dangerous scent into the air. That was exactly what she needed. Autumn tied long, sturdy ropes through the handles on each side of the vases, creating makeshift harnesses. Then she carried them carefully back toward the main palace, her mind already working through the logistics of what came next.

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

“Yes. Thank you.” She turned to grab something from the cabinet, muttering something under her breath about stupid girls and their stupid problems. Her back was to me. Just for a second. The vase sat on the bedside table. Heavy ceramic. White lilies spilling out of it like a funeral arrangement. Because that’s what this was, wasn’t it? A funeral for my baby. Not if I could help it. Don’t think. Move. Now! I grabbed the vase with both hands. It was heavier than I expected, water sloshing over the rim and splashing onto my fingers.

this book is so filthy, addictive and makes you constantly check for updates. the relationship between angel/vincent is everything and the one of angel/daniel you hate but love still. you don’t want him to have her but you love the dangerous drama he brings to her/vincent’s relationship. a must read

Hey! I've been reading the novel so far, and finished 50% of it and I'm loving it so much. You might consider changing Angle’s look on the cover to match her look in the novel cause I kept imagining her with black hair and blue eyes all along, which would help even future readers.

Blood Thirsty Luna

Blood Thirsty Luna

“Here is one of the vases. According to the text, there should be a match. You see this wolf design? This is the luna vase. There wasn’t an alpha vase in the shipment. Still, I have arranged these beautiful flowers. It really brings out the white in the vase and hides the gold pieces without clashing.” I had no idea what the flowers were. I knew what roses were and Baby’s Breath. Still, there were some that I think were carnations? Either way, the white wolf design was made of tiny pieces of square glass. It looked like it was placed and then mudded on like an actual tile. The design was big enough it took up the whole front size, leaving the gold part in the back.

Remarriage: His Billionaire Ex-wife

Remarriage: His Billionaire Ex-wife

If she didn't see it wrong, that vase should be from the Ming Dynasty, worth at least a hundred thousand or so. Looking again, there was a small box placed on top of his shelf, inside of which were two jade pendants and a silk handkerchief. The handkerchief was light pink, with a peony embroidered on it. One corner of the handkerchief also had the word "Skylar" embroidered on it. The handkerchief was well preserved, except for the thread of the word "Skylar" being a bit old. The two jade pendants were obviously a pair, with the flawless white jade indicating that it was of excellent quality.

After They Killed My Grandmother, I Canceled My Wedding

After They Killed My Grandmother, I Canceled My Wedding

His foot caught on something, and he stumbled, falling hard to the floor. A sharp pain shot through his hand, and his fingers brushed against something rough under the bed. It was a faded, well-washed handkerchief. It was empty, its edges embroidered with a protective charm in cheap thread. In one corner, the names of Chloe and her grandmother were embroidered in a crooked, unsteady hand. Vincent stared at the handkerchief, completely stunned. He remembered Chloe's furious eyes from a few days ago, and her words: "That was a gift from my grandmother, for me to wear when I married you."

The Pack's Emissary

The Pack's Emissary

Only Connery would be able to source hand-embroidered handkerchiefs in the midst of a war. “Verina,” he told her. “It is an art form truly. I have another if you like, my love. They’re lavender-scented. Real lavender, not that artificial stuff humans use.” “I’m fine, but thank you,” she fought the urge to laugh at him.

HATING HER KING

HATING HER KING

Stubborn as she was, she would try to withhold it from him, but he would have it. Alexander smirked. Remembering the handkerchief, he retrieved it from his pocket to study it some more. It was a handkerchief of expensive material with a simple embroidery at one end. It was her name and a blossom embroidered to it. Alexander reached into his pocket and withdrew the handkerchief, holding it delicately between his fingers to study it once more. The fabric was of exquisite quality, and of expensive origins. His gaze lingered on the simple yet elegant embroidery adorning one corner, where Guinevere's name was intricately stitched alongside a delicate blossom. It was a small, but thoughtful detail

The Prince Vampire

The Prince Vampire

Kevin asked, turning his gaze to Henzie. "Yes, thank you," Henzie nodded. Her hands moved, intending to get out of Kevin's car. However, her hand suddenly stopped just as she was about to open the man's car door. Henzie's hand quickly shifted, reached into her bag and took an item. "Oh yes, this is your handkerchief. I washed it yesterday, thank you," she said as she returned Kevin's white handkerchief. "No need to return it, just keep it," said Kevin.

3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance

3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance

Not with everything already spiraling out of control. Chelsea didn’t notice anything, though. Or maybe she did and simply ignored it, because she calmly lifted the cloth covering the object in her hands. And when she unveiled it— The entire hall gasped. My eyes dropped to it, confusion instantly replacing everything else for a second. It was… a vase. But not just any normal looking vase. It was intricately carved, the surface filled with delicate patterns that looked almost alive, like they shifted slightly if you stared too long. The material shimmered faintly under the light, like it held something inside it, something… powerful.
