The Fall of a Guardian

The Fall of a Guardian

YNNAH I arrived home completely dumbfounded by what I had just witnessed. I still couldn’t believe my eyes. I had seen things that only existed in fantasy stories and movies—things I never imagined I would encounter in real life. A sky that seemed to open up, emitting a blinding, dazzling light that hurt just to look at. A strange, faint cry echoing in the darkness—the sound of a man suffering in unimaginable pain. Something rushed past me, moving at such incredible speed that I couldn't even identify what it was. And then, behind that massive Narra tree… a single, silky black feather, beautiful and rare, soaked in fresh blood.

The Black Devil Omegaverse

The Black Devil Omegaverse

Not good. Instead of rising up from the lifeboat, Tallgrass's rabbit hole dropped him from the sky into the boat. Thankfully, he only fell a few feet. The little boat still almost capsized. He stood, words of apology forming as he readied himself in case it was to be a magic duel.

The Fall

Lily was only four, she always wanted me to read her a bedtime story before bed. "Benny, Benny. Daddy told me a stowey. Let me tell it to you." Entice the Moon to Fall

He stretched his legs forward and pushed his chair backward. Ella sighed. “I showed him the laboratory and explained the work that we do here,” said Ella. “I had a small accident while showing him things and dropped acid to the floor.” Ella bit her lip, hesitating to speak further. “Ella splashed acid on Mr. Kazor’s expensive leather shoes and tailored pants!” continued Matt, placing both hands to the back of his head. “It was an accident, Nance,” insisted Ella.

FALLING For EDWARD

FALLING For EDWARD

“Me too. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been scared, and I’ve been alone for a long time.” He glanced at her again. “But I don’t want to keep feeling alone,” she said quietly. “Not when I’m here. Not when you’re here.” He turned his body toward her, leaning on the piano bench, his eyes on hers again. “You make me want things I’d already given up on,” he said. “Things I told myself were done.” Abby reached for his hand again. She held it tightly this time. “Then maybe it’s not too late.” The silence came again, but it wasn’t heavy. It was soft. Peaceful.

His tip slipping out and he walked around before me to look down at me. “What?” I quirked a brow as I looked up at him. “What’s wrong, Mathis?” I asked in a honeyed tone. “This isn’t you.” He lowered to squat before me and caught my cheeks. Staring into my eyes. And at the floating silver flakes there. “Twinkets.” His jaw hardened. “How’d they get to you. They can’t reach things in this realm. Someone is helping you. Who is it?” I blinked at him. “I don’t know what you mean.”

But it was funny. Her human shrieked, and mine grunted. At least he was smart enough to land on his back, so Tinkerbell’s human didn’t get hurt. Now to sit back and see if the sparks fly. Panting from all the running, I sat at the water's edge, happily awaiting the outcome. Happier still when Tinkerbell sat down next to me to wait.

Is that really how the book ends? It's a really good book but to end it that way... Especially with the trauma the two main characters seperately endured... Feels wrong to deprive the reader from getting to have that HEA with the characters.

Another wonderful book!! I have laughed so hard it hurts and this is not just a nod to romance, But Life getting in the way and our animals fully taking over and inserting themselves when we aren't brave enough to do it ourselves. Absolutely brilliant!!!

When the moon fell

she squealed, laughing. “Put me down!” He ignored her protests and kept walking. She lightly pounded her fists against his back. “I’m serious!” Smack! Nova froze. “…” Her eyes widened. “Did you just spank me?” Kael couldn’t hide his grin. “That’s for going missing.” Nova gasped dramatically. “I got kidnapped!” “You also ignored orders.” “I escaped, didn’t I?” “You still scared ten years off my life.” Nova huffed. “I think you’re being dramatic.”

CAUGHT BETWEEN THE ALPHA LYCAN AND THE BETA'S HEART.

CAUGHT BETWEEN THE ALPHA LYCAN AND THE BETA'S HEART.

I wasn't sure what they wanted from me, but I knew it wasn't good. "Please help me oh Goddess!" I whispered under my breath, hoping for a miracle. I knew that I couldn't do this alone, and I needed all the help I could get. As I continued to climb, my legs began to wobble, and my breaths became shorter. I could see the top of the tower, and I knew I was getting closer. I was about to step on the 89th step when I felt my foot slip on my shiny rubber shoe. The next thing I knew, I was tumbling down the stairs, my body hitting each step as I fell.

DEPTHS OF SHADOWS

Her feet began to float in the air as she began to fly. Talon hurriedly followed his sister and he's doing zigzags in the air. Falla is in good balance using the broom to fly while Talon began to go upside down. He doesn't know how to use broomsticks to fly and he even forgot the right spell to use. “I regret skipping lessons about controlling brooms in the air!” He shouted, causing Falla to laugh so hard but her joy eventually vanished the moment she saw what did happen to the mansion.
