I sighed and pushed this thought away, focusing on my talk with my mate. “It’s not a good idea, it’s too dangerous,” Henry stated, running his fingers through my hair. I sighed in frustration. “Henry, I’m a Golden Dragon, not a damsel in distress. It will be dangerous for them, not for me. Fire!” I furrowed my brows at him and pointed towards myself.

Gavin was burning with jealousy. He felt the temperature around him rising just as the jealousy continued to simmer and burn within him. Soon, he watched as Henry’s hair combusted. The pure panic in his eyes was enough to make Gavin smile. It wasn’t his intention to set Henry on fire, but he wasn’t displeased by the unfortunate event. Henry was yelling at Erin put the fire out; out of nowhere, it began raining. Once the fire was out, Henry brushed his fingers through his singed hair. “Looks like I’ll have to get new hair,” he said with a light laugh.

He laughs again and smacks my bum, hanging on his shoulder. "You didn't put the cream down, I'm not putting you down." he says, and it's final. We didn't actually need a lot of time to clean ourselves up, especially because neither of us really cares about the way our hair looks; Axel has given up on controlling his locks a long time ago, and I have given up because there is so much hair on my head that I would need two days to straighten it. And my hair gets greasy after three days, so there really isn't a point to it. It's quite straight anyway, thank God.

On getting to the sitting room, I saw Henry standing with a scissors in one hand, a thick strand of long hair in the other, and a guilty look on his face. Olivia was standing beside him, with an uneven hair length and guilt-ridden, misty eyes. The wheels in my head turned as I took a long look at Olivia's head to see if she had any injuries. Fortunately, she didn't. Inhaling sharply, I said. “Explain how this happened.” Fiddling with the hair, Henry began. “We were watching Dora the explorer when Olivia said she wanted a haircut like Dora, so I telled her that I can cut it. I'm sorry, mummy.”

The danger level, which had been dropping, shot up like crazy. So the trigger was this hair? I lifted the dripping clump and let out a quiet sigh. "Sir, I get it. I used to deal with this, too. My hair kept falling out because I barely slept. "You work too hard. You push yourself nonstop and forget to take care of that great hair of yours. "But don't worry! I brought something just for this." Right then, the danger level finally stopped climbing. [Wait… What? Does she have some kind of holy artifact?]

He continued, making lines along my head. “How is it that you look cool with your hair like that, while I get a buzz cut and look like an alien?” Henry grumbled from the kitchen. I bit my lip so as to not laugh. “Because you look like an alien normally. A buzz cut won’t fix that.” Everyone laughed and Henry threw his hands up. Bernard finished with the razor, but he didn’t let me go. Taking out a straight razor, he did a full lather of shaving cream, slathering it on my head, and began using that razor.

But Henry, the man behind the facade, was tired, hurt, and visibly at war with himself. His tie was loose, hanging around his neck. A few buttons of his shirt had been undone, revealing part of his chest covered by a thin layer of sweat. His hair, always perfectly in place, was slightly tousled, as if he had run his hands through it multiple times, frustrated. Still, there was something extremely attractive about that disarray. He was beautiful. Commanding. A mix of strength and vulnerability that disarmed me effortlessly.

That hair that I'd die for. Ooops It's not black. This guy has brown hair. I'm sane. It's not Damien. But why does he look so much like him?! Oh Lord, your daughter is going crazy and she needs HELP.

It mean that it was young, sunny, and cute. Can an immature man give a girl a sense of security? Henry sneered, but still got up and went upstairs to change into a suit. He chose a khaki casual suit. Then, he washed his hair, which had always been combed meticulously, again. A few strands of loose hair hung down on her forehead. The feeling of restraint dissipated slightly, but there was a little eviller and more unrestrained. Standing in front of the mirror, Henry nodded with satisfaction and went out in a good mood...
