"What about her?" Henry asked as they walked towards the elevator in the extremely quiet space. "I have neither seen her nor heard from her the whole of today. I wonder if she is okay. James is walking free and might pick her up," Mirenda said and fetched her phone.

Her mother searched for her through the crowd while she watched in amusement, she rushed down immediately, pushing through the crowds and to her mother who she hadn’t seen in a while. Barb Goodman, who had been searching for her daughter saw her approaching with open hands trying to initiate a hug. She opened her hands immediately and pulled her daughter into a warm embrace, Arlene pulled away a bit, and her mum patted her fluttering hair to the side and tucked them at the back of her ear. Barb took her daughters handbag and swung it on her shoulder while they walked towards the car.

"Mom, I know I messed up! I went crazy and let Mona mess with my head. She convinced me you were out to ruin them, so I left with her... But I get it now, I was so wrong. Please, forgive me!" Wow. He really had an excuse ready for everything. Suppressing a laugh, I just smirked. "So, what finally got you to snap out of it?" Henry's face twisted, something dark flashing in his eyes. Larissa dodged him impatiently and said coldly, "I have yet to settle the score with you about you getting Ross abducted, and you have the guts to come and see me?" Henry looked ghastly. He lowered his voice as if he was afraid of being heard. "Larissa, you've got to be careful of that child. He's dangerous!" Larissa looked at him as if he were an idiot, and laughed coldly. He hesitated. “Mom said he was a bad man.” I forced my voice to stay steady. “Henry, sometimes adults say things when they’re hurt or scared. It doesn’t always mean the whole truth.” He looked up at me, his eyes too wise and too wounded for his age. “But she said he carries guns. In school they taught us that people with guns are bad and dangerous. So… Dad is dangerous, right?”
