An undeniable spark could be seen in her brown eyes and it looked like she was already excited about what we were about to do. Just by looking at her, sunshine flooded throughout my soul too that I couldn’t think of a time I had ever been happier.

Julian was waiting by the elevator he looked at me his eyes were dark. He did not say anything he just walked into the elevator. I followed him the doors closed. The elevator went down it was very quiet. When the doors opened we were on the floor. The sound was very loud it was like a punch. There were a lot of people they were all dressed up they were drinking champagne. The music was playing it was very beautiful. "Keep your head up " Julian said, his hand was on my back. "Smile, Elena the cameras are watching."

"They see perfectly well." He turns to me, his gaze intense, piercing. "They don't see that you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. A silvery gray, like a winter sky. They're full of things, you know. Sadness, yes, but also strength. A strength just waiting to blossom."

She has me completely mesmerized with her gorgeous emerald eyes. “Hello, Madison. It’s nice to finally meet you.” I reply with a small smile, a bit surprised at how calm I am. It’s like my anxiety has completely vanished and I can’t take my eyes off of Madison. If I had been able to look elsewhere, I might have missed the quick moment of her eyes flashing from her emerald color to a vibrant gold green. Madison closes her eyes and shakes her head very subtly. When her eyes reopen, they are back to the emerald green. I know I didn’t just imagine that. “You’re one of them, aren’t you?” I ask with the realization that everyone here must turn into animals.
