I wasn't surprised. Grandma loved mythology. Myths and legends were her favourite things to talk about. She took them very seriously. Mom always said how it was just because of her old age. Her mind was just...dazed. However, I knew it wasn't just a stupid trance that she was under. The exciting glint in her eyes whenever she talked about this stuff, I saw it every time. And it made her seem more real.

I am Persephone. You really should have done your research properly. I allowed you to get that information on purpose.”

"Wow... " "At last! Let's line up now! Zeus with Hera! Then Athena! Aphrodite stand here with Hephaestus... " And so on. Hephaestus, which is Gibson, stood beside her. He's like a dead earlier and now, he's much brighter than the sun now that he's near her. I hissed. Hephaestus is the ugliest God and Aphrodite's the prettiest goddess. They are not meant to be together because he is UGLY.

FUN FACT: Eating Pomegranate was the trick that Hades used to trap Persephone for a portion of the year – eating the food of the underworld.

I held my knees tighter, trying to put as much distance as I could between myself and them. "Very clever." Mama said in a voice that wasn't hers. "Indeed. She is full of potential. This setting happened only in my history class during my school days but I can't believe that it's happening now to me for real. I can still recall how Hera became so jealous and vengeful to some of Zeus' lovers in my Mythology subject. I never thought to see my favorite Goddess here inside what they called the Valkyrie Kingdom.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact I have been so long-standing that temptation finally snapped his restraint. I have been the longest-standing goddess since the likes of Selene and Aphrodite... Hestia. You know, the first gens that lived with him. The ones that have come to pass or have retired from their roles, handing down their duties and gifts to the next generation. I suppose that's half of what Zeus has been doing. He gave his lightning to Theseus and his ability to move stars and planets to goddess Astrata. Could he be coming to the end of his life?

Would that be any relation to the Greek god Hephaestus?” “Well look who is smarter than she looks. You are correct. The god Hephaestus created this realm. All realms are created by a god, the humans from your realm managed to get at least that correct.”
