The boy jolted in shock as he heard the voice of Abigail behind them. They stared at each other, confused about what to say.

She kind of looked like a demon. Carefully as not to startle her, he settled on the opposite side of their table and asked in a low voice, "What are you looking for?" The books she stacked on the table caught his attention. "'The Expanded History of Death'," he read the titles aloud, "'Funerals through the Ages'. 'Life after Death: the Existence of the Afterlife'. 'Creatures of the Night'. Are you trying to know more about Hellborns and the Underworld?" Calix was a lot of things, but unfortunately, he wasn't thick, Kat lamented. "Yes."

I continue to read and try to understand the knowledge before me. I decide to pack these books and I go back for others. I grab several jars of herbs and such too. Several crystals who's importance I read. I grab a book on banshees, and another old book with marker on it's spine. It's so old the original print has faded. Incubi, succubi and demons. I drag it back to the room excited to crack it open.

I vowed to do everything I could to protect Alex. Eric had forbidden me from leaving Dixonville till morning. So, I went to my room and took out an ancient book from the shelf and settled at my study table. It was titled ‘ How To Protect Yourself from Creatures of Hell’. It contained rituals, spells, and objects that could keep various creatures like vampires, werewolves, energy shifters, etc.

Once I reached the library, I started looking for the book having details of all kinds of creatures in the world. And thankfully, my research ended after half an hour. This is a magical book that gets updated automatically along with time, just as Wikipedia in g****e terms. I quickly read all the pages of those creatures about whom I already knew like Nephilim, Demon, Angels, Werewolves, Shapeshifters, Dragons, and Vampires.

I picked at a golden slice of fish, savoring the rich, tangy taste before looking over at the book still sitting beside Kira’s seat. "What are you reading?" "Something on mystical creatures forged with witchcraft," she said between bites. "I’m hoping it might help us identify the giant serpent, but so far, there’s no mention of it." I chewed slowly, my gaze falling to the intricate cover of the book. "Nothing about a snake that kills everything in its path?" "Not yet. Just banshees, shadow beasts, some hybrid ghouls, and this weird chapter about moon-cursed wolves." I raised an eyebrow. "Sounds delightful."

She said moving to the other side of the library. I came across different books about werewolves, witches, Lycans, vampires and even hybrids and many more I had no idea existed like the fairies and fox shapeshifters. Although I wanted to read them all now I knew it wasn't possible so I picked out a book that was titled ‘THE FEUD BETWEEN TWO WORLDS’ this was written in big bold engraved like the font on the hard black cover then there was another title underneath ‘THE WOLVES AND THE VAMPIRES’

His intentions had been honorable, but he hadn't had the patience to give his research time to develop. He had fussed, wanted to develop a medicine that would take away the fear of deformity and mental retardation of their babies from expectant mothers.
