I steeled myself and opened the door. The hallway was awash in red. Smears and spatters of bright and dark blood covered the walls, the floor, and my door. My head reeled. What the hell happened? Why was there so much blood outside my door? Hadn't the guy in 603 seen it through his peephole? I couldn't help looking toward apartment 603. To my surprise, the door stood half-open, and it was dead quiet inside. I picked my way past the bloodstains and made my way to apartment 603.

The red-clad female ghost had once slaughtered an entire room of players in three seconds, then hung their corpses upside down from tree branches with red silk, creating a forest of dangling bodies. The Scissorhands monster had skewered more than a dozen people together, stirring their organs with his blades until they dissolved into a pile of flesh. I take my food to the lounge to eat while watching TV. When I'm not dancing, I'm cooking and watching series. Mostly thriller and suspense. Believe me, I get scared, but thriller is better than horror. It's mostly blood and guns but with horror? You'll come across creatures that don't even exist yet feel real because of how scary they are. You'll believe there's a Darkasher somewhere out there.

“Back before you were a world-famous author, huh?” Brad laughed. “Yeah, back then I was working for my hometown paper writing obituaries.” “So your work hasn’t changed too much; you’re still writing about death.” “I suppose you could look at it that way.” “I’ll confess I haven’t actually read any of your books. I know of you by reputation, but I’m a bit too squeamish for horror. A mystery, on the other hand, suits me just fine.” “Hey, to each his own. Or her own. I like mysteries, too; in some ways they share similar elements with horror.”

Suddenly there was a short circuit in the room. A bulb which was hanging at the corner of the ceiling had an electrical impedance and at once it fell on the floor like somebody intentionally dropped it. Rendall marched until he reached his room and closed it. Since Rendall’s still taking a bath, I decided to go out and look at the lake. Every morning, fogs come out and the lake looks mysterious with the fog on top of it. Today, the sun is covered by dull clouds and it can’t seem to find a way to make the world blind by its beam. I was suddenly reminded of the day I first killed a werewolf. The atmosphere is the same and fogs are also everywhere. During that time, all I had in mind is to hunt and kill, bring fear and hear them plead. After that, a different kind of satisfaction came across me.

She was lying in bed asleep unknowing of the darkness that was at the foot of her bed. She stirred, awakening from her slumber, her subconscious feeling the hard eyes staring at her. She felt goosebumps, hair raising at the back of her neck. She gripped the blanket up to her neck and shouted, "I know you are here Hannah! What do you want from me?!" A sense of unease permeated the air as if the very stones themselves whispered of long-lost secrets and ancient curses. Polished ebony coffins lined the walls, each adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of darkness and death. Gargoyles leered down from their perches high above, their stone eyes seemingly tracking every movement with an eerie intensity. Sinister whispers reverberated through the dark corridors, and the cold touch of fear lingered in the air, warning all who dared to intrude upon this unholy sanctuary.
