But as I turned, the sight that greeted me snatched the air from my lungs, freezing me in petrified horror. There, amidst the shadows cast by the flickering lights, stood a figure—a silhouette cloaked in darkness, its form indistinct yet undeniably menacing. It seemed to exude an otherworldly aura, a chilling presence that sent shudders coursing through my body. Fear seized me, rendering me motionless for a moment, before sheer terror propelled me into a frantic scramble away from the haunting entity.

My skin prickled, a shiver racing down my spine as I paced, my mind spiraling deeper into a chasm of despair and fury. Tonight was different. The shadows morphed, taking on grotesque shapes, shadows of horrors I couldn't comprehend. I could almost feel their fingers, icy and unforgiving, brushing against my skin, igniting a primal fear deep within me. I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms until the blood welled up, crimson droplets spilling onto the cold concrete floor. The pain was an anchor in this surreal nightmare, reminding me that I was still human, still capable of feeling something other than the overwhelming dread that hung over me like a dark cloud.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. After saying this, I would love and appreciate your feedbacks and things to watch out for when I do edit the book. It would be really helpful and appreciated. Bonus scene ideas too would be great. No matter how hard things got, she, Geraldina Veraldina would always complete her missions. However the next minute she felt her resolve falter. This world… this supposedly normal world was… was a horror genre?! On top of being an unplotted world where anything could happen, it just happened to be a horror story?! “Zero tell me, who the heck did I offend? Is it Jackson? Why a horror genre, am fucking scared of ghosts for damn sake. It’s not even a slasher but pure horror with monsters and sorcerers. What the heck?!”

My mouth simply hangs open- my mind blurs as blood drips from my hands at the sight. Selene. Selene! Eyes of crimson peer through the darkness under the hold. Thin, long, dark claws elongate, scratching the wood as the creature emerges. A creature of skin and bones, of shadow and chaos. It stands taller than I have ever seen, switching from all fours to its two feet. It unfurled, fangs revealed as it growled. Drenched in blood, skin, and things only found within. Horror - complete and utter horror. I feel my heart give out. My soul leaves my body. Every man who sees it forgets the storm.

[Darkness] SIERRA Darkness. A dense, inky blackness that seemed to stretch into nothingness, unlike the usual moonless night. I couldn’t see a thing or hear a sound. Nothing to taste or smell other than darkness. Then panic gripped me, its frigid claws engulfing my body. My hands reached out, wanting to feel something—anything — but nothing was there. Nothing except emptiness and terror. The darkness seemed to go on indefinitely. That was when my worry transformed into full-fledged fear, and fear into unspeakable horror.

Sounds of bones were snapping and shattering as a flood of horrendous rebels broke the lines of defenses. The effluvium of death was all around. The battlefield had been baptized in blood and the bitter, mordant perfume of corpses emanated from it. This is the scenario I see afore me. I can’t define it even more than a single word… This is horror. I roamed my gaze around, trying to search for a certain person. Across this chaotic place and over the vast lands of death and cruelty. Yet, there is not even a single hint of the person I’m looking for. I can’t find him no matter what and where I look.
