RJ chuckled but waited for my response. “Uh-huh, I’ve just crept out lately whenever I did some overtime, and you know me around the hospital; I don’t get scared even when I’m alone, but lately, it does.” I sighed as my heart rate finally settled down. “Oh, you might have watched some horror films before...” RJ teased, making me laugh at her. She knew that I was not into any horror films, but she still teased me with it. “RJ, how can I watch a horror film alone when I’m fucking scared of it?" I sarcastically asked, making RJ shrug her shoulders while chuckling.

" I stayed silent, but that did not deter them. They started ramming the door. I pressed my back against it, looking at my unconscious mother in the bedroom, and closed my eyes. A living hell on earth was worse than any horror game. When humans start killing each other, they were more terrifying than monsters. ... Meanwhile, a group of bosses gathered in the empty supermarket, staring at each other in confusion. "Uhm, where's Ms Thrushwood?" one of them asked. "She's always punctual. Even on restock days when the shop's closed, she tells us ahead of time," another commented.

Michael said, “Sakura told me we could play hide-and-seek, or we could tell scary stories.” Akira thought about it for a moment and then said, “You know what? How about we freshen up and change into our pajamas and then meet up in my room. Then we can tell each other scary stories. I know a lot of very scary Japanese ones.” Michael looked excited. “Really? Awesome.” Akira turned to Sakura and asked, “How about it?” Sakura nodded. “Sure, that sounds fun.” She turned to ask Mary and Katherine. “How about you two?”

Please forgive me for listening and not helping. After a few minutes of screams from her and grunts from him, the banging stops, and I hear her feet run from the room. I try to keep my sobs quiet, but I know he can hear me. I can see his shadow at the bottom of the door, and it is terrifying. I feel like I am in some twisted horror movie, and the psycho serial killer is right outside the door, coming to kill me next. "Amber," he says, and I freeze. I curl myself up even tighter, and I hear him sigh.

I darted my eyes away quickly-- "You promised," Al said all of a sudden. "What?" I paused in surprise. "No question asked," Al smirked, holding out his hand to me. I was grateful that he didn't ask into it. Night fell. So the thing about horror stories is that-- The fear kicks in only at dark nights when you are alone, not when you are at the crowded theater or on the bright street. Meaning-- I couldn't fall asleep that night. Turns out it's a bit hard to fall asleep when you don't close your eyes because you feel the need to stare at everything with alert.

I do not want Willow to eavesdrop on our conversation. Willow wondered what they were saying as she shrugged and her gaze averted to the closed door that the masked doctor came out from. She started thinking while her friends whispered to each other. "This Halloween might be the one that would remove this anxiety disorder. She is our friend, we have to help her. Willow has been scared of Halloween for the past three years because of what happened to Samara. Samara is gone, Willow has to move on with her life. And we have to help her do it" Piper said.

Alexander gushes in excitement. "Okay I will come." Rushes Amara. She wanted to get out of the devil's abode some way or the other. Nothing he speaks next goes inside Amara's head. "Alex I am feeling very frightened here. Everybody had gone out to watch a horror movie playing at a nearby theater and I am alone. Could you please come home instead of the driver to pick me?

Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them. Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

The wind continues to batter at the trees in the dark, the one lone branch scraping and clawing off the back of the truck. My mind fills with every single scary-movie monster I've ever seen since my first time when my cousin Letty let me watch Arachnophobia while my parents were out of town. My brain holds an encyclopedia of Big Bads that could be waiting for me in the dark. As time goes on, they begin to feel scarier than any criminal Spencer may encounter inside. Plus, he has a gun to shoot things with. The only protection I have out here are my own two hands, and they're much better at saving people than hurting them.
