How Does Dune Book End Novels & Stories

He sat at the kitchen table and put both hands flat on the surface and looked at them. "Done?" Dante said. He was at the counter, cutting the bread for lunch. "Done," Elian said. "First draft. Very rough in the middle section. The ending needs — " He stopped. "The ending is right. It surprised me." "How does it end?" Dante asked. Elian looked at him. "The same way the best things end," he said. "Not dramatically. Just — the two of them in a place they've made theirs, and the sense that what comes next is the actual story and the novel has just been the prologue to it."

"We have discovered a sample of the poison!" They all flinched in shock. "What?" Adonis stammers with wide eye. _ Just to keep you all on notice, this book is coming to an end soon, when I mean soon I meant pretty soon like two chapters before the end. “Nah… he just got something on his mind.” I frowned, glaring at him. He just laughed and winked at me. Did he know something I didn't? The room settled into a comfortable kind of silence after that. The kind where nobody needed to talk, but nobody really stopped thinking either. I took another slow drag, letting the heat spread through my lungs before passing it back. “Y'all good to head back?” Will asked after a while, stretching his arms above his head. “Yeah,” Declan said immediately. “The beach is still popping anyway.”

I lean up and kiss him once more, quick and sure, a final period on a story that used to be all questions. “And together,” I add, as the muffled roar of the crowd swells one last time behind us, “we owned the world.” End of Book 1

I am feeling better now which is why I am uploading. P.S The good news is that, This book is ALMOST done! I am so excited for the ending and I really hope you liked this chapter. Janice finished off grinning from ear to ear. "Okay... so what happens to us now. We the fictional characters?" Daniel asked, Ethan nods in agreement. "The book Janice made me write didn't just feature the *evil one* alone. It's a story of when we all abruptly showed up in Janice life. And so the book ends with the villain dying and the three of us remaining here on earth." Vivian answered. "Living happily ever after, unless someone burns the book." Janice jokes. "All in all, it's your first happy ending book." Ethan whistles placing a kiss on Janice forehead.

I smile at him slowly, genuinely with tears trickling down my face, my eyes locked as though somehow I can draw strength from those beautiful greys. I’ll miss seeing them. Despite all he is, I will miss him. This is it … The end to all my troubles and maybe now I can finally know what it is to be that dandelion seed, set free on the breeze and finding her way in the wind. Soaring to a better place where he can never touch me again. I turn the gun to my own head and without hesitation, I pull the trigger. End of book one – book two follows on.
