How Many Words For A Novel Novels & Stories

Three months of waiting while placing CVs in various companies still did not get results. I never imagined my writing would win that contest and become my money tree now. For one year, I worked on the first novel, and it has hundreds of chapters. Within a day, the number of readers in each chapter has exceeded the platform’s salary. My second novel is also booming like the previous novel, even though it only has 11 chapters. After a nightmare, my stomach was hungry, and I had to get my breakfast. “What should I cook for today? I’m so lazy.”

So gentlewolves (this is my nickname for my readers. I just came up with it, what do you my gentlewolves think?) So on to the reason why I am writing this note before the start of the chapter... I was wondering that maybe my chapters are too long So I'll be making it shorter Now instead of the 1k+ words I usually write I'll be writing 600-700 words from now till further notice That is if you my gentlewolves are happy with it

The next moment, darkness occupied me completely. To my readers: How time goes by. It has been around two months since I started to provide my writings to you. It just happened naturally and unknowingly. And the total amount of words is about to achieve 50 thousand. It is quite an exciting and important moment for new novel writers. For me, I couldn't write this novel smoothly without your strong support. I do appreciate that you all can accompany with me in this journey together. I wish I could respond to the comments here on GoodNovel, but that is not a feature that is easily accessible for authors on the desktop. This chapter is a little over 1500 words on my end so I believe it will become 2 when it updates. As I get closer tothe end of the book, I am going back to clarify things for continuity. The good thing, though, is that each chapter will be around 2000 words or more because I aim to finish this world in 27 chapters or less. Also~. This world will probably be more interesting than the subsequent worlds, and I promise an enjoyable plot and lots of smut. Yes, there will be smut in this world, and it will definitely be spicy hehe. I carry out my updates like this to avoid unduly stretching the book, as I plan to finish this book with just sixty to sixty-five chapters. If I update everyday, I would have to be updating an average of fourteen thousand words in a week, which is kind of a lot for me to handle as I am also busy with work and other things. Thank you so much for those who actually took their time to share their complaints with me. I really appreciate it. I understand that the time difference amongst all of us may differ, and may affect when most of us expect the update, but please do bear with me. Thank you so much again for reading my book. I am trying to be consistent on my posts for you guys so we can really get into the good stuff! P.s I do not choose the amount the chapters cost, so if they are pricy I apologize for that too but I try to keep my chapters around 2k words but if I need to for my readers I can try to break them up. The novel was too long and Rosalie was unable to finish reading everything that night. She only managed to zoom past a few hundreds of thousands of words. She was reading pretty quickly. The author’s writing was simple and easy to read, without much complexity in the prose. Despite that, she only managed to read slightly less than half of the total word count. She inserted a bookmark and flipped to the final page. She realized that Angie left a comment on the final chapter too, in which she gave the author a thorough scolding.
