How Many Words Is A Chapter Novels & Stories

The estate piece had been somewhere between, its length determined by the need to introduce Thomas and the grandfather and the obligation of the middle position without letting any of these elements overbalance the others. The last chapter was shorter than all of them. It ran to just under three thousand words. But the word count was not the measure of what the chapter demanded. What it demanded was something that the essays had not required, or had required in smaller measure: the sustained inhabiting of the personal position without the protection of the argumentative structure that distance provides.

This has been irritating me for a few days. To the people complaining about how the chapters are broken up, this is not a decision I made myself. I'm doing what I was told to do. GN wants chapters under 1k words to make them easier to purchase. Especially with bonus coins. My chapters tend to be 3-4k words so I HAVE to break them up. The first few chapters that are free I kept at their regular length because they are free, but the chapters starting from where it goes to PTR I was told to make shorter. There are other option on where to read my books if the chapter breaks are that much of an issue.... Leaving negative reviews for something so silly and out of my hands is unfair and really pet

I am trying to be consistent on my posts for you guys so we can really get into the good stuff! P.s I do not choose the amount the chapters cost, so if they are pricy I apologize for that too but I try to keep my chapters around 2k words but if I need to for my readers I can try to break them up. Anyone wants to help me with editing of chapters ? I am thinking of having some rederss to help m with it . You will have to edit at least hundred or thousand words per day. Since that is the amount of words that are right and fourth chapter or somewhere around two thousand I'm not sure if you are interested or not but just a sort of helping me since I'm overloaded with other work but I can write the chapter and give it to you and then later on you can see and edit them hope that works out
