How Many Words Is A Chapter Novels & Stories

Hello guys. So I've seen some complaints about me updating only once a day and I just want to clarify something. I write very long chapters. Some of my chapters can go up to 2800 words. And while other authors would rather divide that word count into two, I chose to publish it at once because of the cost of chapters on the app nowadays.

It is so encouraging to see that people are loving the novel and are willing to spend on it <3 That's why I will try to keep the word count between 1000-1200 which will cost you just 13 or 15 coins, so that you can just unlock the chapter by either watching ad or using your daily bonus coins ;) So get ready to begin the journey of tragic and incomplete love from the past life... -Moonlight!

Stay seeing to knowing more. V1"...Eh.. Good enough. " ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The next chapter are deleted scenes from this chapter. They aren't important to the storyline but kinda a waste of deleting it since I put a lot of effort into writing it. There are like 2.4K words and would be expensive to read. So I'll leave that up to you. -----------------------------------------------------------------------

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.

TABLE OF CONTACT CHAPTER ONE – 1 CHAPTER TWO - 19 CHAPTER THREE – 33 CHAPTER FOUR – 48 CHAPTER FIVE – 63 CHAPTER SIX – 78 CHAPTER SEVEN – 93 CHAPTER EIGHT – 109 CHAPTER NINE – 138 CHAPTER TEN – 169 CHAPTER ELEVEN – 169

Note: The following chapters' word counts will decrease dramatically by 500 words. This change is due to a realization that have dawned upon me. I don't want my readers to get bored nor do I want to serve less frequent updates because I struggle maintaining the 2k+ word count every chapter. I hope everyone adjusts to this! Thanks! Love, Z

Later, I would be able to feel proud that I wrote something about my country’s local myth (screw inconsistencies and lack of information which I patched up with my own imagination). By the way, my apologies if in the end, I did not really reveal any spoiler. Haha. I was just writing down my messy thoughts. Alright. I’m guilty so let me just proceed to answering questions that I know some have in mind. - *How many chapters would The Ascension have? Can’t say for sure, but I estimate, it would be between 200-300. The chapters of this story are long anyway, I believe I would be able to cover everything that needed to be covered with that number of chapters.

Author's note. Happy 60 Chapter Guys!!!! I feel so happy and elated. You know, when I started writing, I was planning to write only 15 chapters since I just wanted to write about my Friend who died so I could feel a little comforted that she's in a better place. But well as I wrote I continued to get inspiration so now I have decided that I am going to write 150 chapters. Volume 1: Chapter 1-50. Volume 2: Chapter 50-100.

He opened it and asked me those four words. "Will you marry me?" * * * So guys! here is another chapter, which is the one before the last! Word Count: 1328

Rating it poorly because of what you don’t even know is cruel and malicious. I am sad and angry. I am a reader as much as I am a writer and I have read books with short chapters and understood what short chapters meant. Most times my chapter ends at 2.5k or 3k words, but because I know the coin consumption would be higher, I split the chapter into 2. I don’t like it but I have to understand and be considerate. I am taking this as an outlet to let you know sometimes we do what we do to make it easier for every reader. Getting rated poorly because of it is cruel. I barely get many reviews on the front page of the book so a review this poor would set me back so far.
