The Alpha's Hidden Heir
Finn jerks so hard his elbow hits the sink.
“Finn?” Owen’s voice is rough with sleep. “Are you okay?”
Finn closes his eyes for one second, then forces his face into something normal before opening the door.
Owen stands outside in an old T-shirt and sweatpants, blinking but already worried. He is nineteen, too young to look as tired as he often does, too old for Finn to pretend he can hide everything from him forever. His gaze drops immediately to Finn’s bandaged hand.
“What happened?”
Finn steps out of the bathroom and reaches for the spare shirt hanging over the chair. “Nothing. The delivery took longer than they said.”
