AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello. Thank you in advance for reading my latest novel, The Prophecy: Amarah's Alpha. I hope you will enjoy the journey of our two main characters as well as their entourage. I still was not brethren, and the prophecy still stated, “a queen to all and king to none.” Seers were never wrong, but their words could be misinterpreted. When I was dressed, as my hair was being braided Fae-style by Ashara at the writing desk set beneath the window, I took out a clean sheet of paper and the quill and ink, and wrote the prophecy out on the paper: A king to none and queen to all. The sacrificial lamb with a dragon’s heart must learn to roar to win the war. The binding between mankind and brethren lies with a brethren heir to mankind’s kingdom.

I was burning with curiosity to know what she was hearing or seeing. A prophecy is the moon goddess’s way of communicating with her warlocks. Prophecies are predictions about the future. There are two types of them. Specific ones and general ones. General prophecies are told by every practicing witch in the world at the same exact time, while the specific ones are unique to one warlock about one person, they are the only people who get to know what it says. Neither of those are very common though. Mia never had a prophecy in her lifetime as far as I can remember.

I insist. My mother purses her lips. "Okay. Just call us if you need anything. Love you." "Love you too, mom." After she closes the door, I lay in silence for a while, my mind wandering. Eventually, I fall back asleep. A few hours pass, and I wake up covered in sweat, panting heavily. It happened! I finally had my first prophecy. My heart sinks, deep in my chest. As reassuring as it feels to have finally had a vision, remembering the prophecy that was just revealed makes me sick to my stomach. I get out of bed in a hurry and pace my bedroom floor.

A Silvermoon council elder that stood with Elliot stood abruptly. “Are you saying the prophecy still stands?That it is true that the packs would have power when the Packs unite.” Gina stepped forward, her voice clear. “Alphas of the realm, I greet you. I run up the stairs and lock my door, pretending to be tired. Then, I get a book, pen, and try to write down the woman’s prophecy. After that, I sit on the be, and try to understand it line by line. The signs of the holy language came so easily through him as if his hand already knew how to make the strokes before his brain had a chance to catch up.
