I took a deep breath. Why was I getting all nervous? “I just found myself there, and… I’m so sorry for…”
“For what, Marcus?” He was having way too much fun with this.
"Sleeping in your bed," I said the words in a rush, almost positive he didn't hear a thing I just said. But a low chuckle erupted from him, scratching straight from his stomach, up his throat.
Throaty.
That was the word.
“God, you’re hilarious,” he laughed.
