I wasn’t sure what type of movie Andreena enjoyed but I figured maybe she would like the series that I had been watching lately. It was still an interesting show and I hoped if anything, it would help take her mind off what had happened and give her a moment to relax.

Since when do dragons exist in real life? Since when do humans turn into animals. It’s unnatural.” I can feel his spit hitting my face as he speaks to me, his anger palpable.

His lips pressed against mine, his tongue snaked into my mouth as I gripped his shoulders. Meeting him thrust for thrust, his fingers tightened and I let out a gasp. He pulled back, his silver eyes meeting mine, and he let out a moan. My name slipping from his lips, almost as if he were trying to remind me that we belonged together. “I’ve never seen a dragon with red eyes.” He thrust into me again, his hand moving from my throat to my cheek. His eyes locked with mine as he studied me closer, and I realized that what he said was true.

Meryl was slowly learning to control her dragon. She flew straight back to her kids and shifted before landing on the ground. Her kids ran to her clapping at her ‘act’. When their fathers too landed, they started playing with them. Meryl sat along with her mother-in-law and watched them. She turned to face Cendyt and said, “Thank you for… everything.” Cendyt smiled and pushed chocolate in her mouth. “And thank you to you too.” --- The End.
