Novel & Cerita Hunter Prey

My body buzzed with tension, every instinct screaming that something wasn’t right. And then, the gunshot. It was too close. I twisted, moving out of the way just in time as the bullet sliced through the air where I’d been standing. A growl ripped from my throat, my body surging forward as I shifted midair. The transformation sharpened everything—the scents, the sounds, the movement in the shadows. My eyes locked onto one of the hunters pressed against a tree, his rifle raised. I didn’t give him the chance to fire again.

He had already mind-linked Killian and told him what was going on, his Alpha would be joining him shortly, but as he watched Tegan flew straight into the worst kind of trouble. Circling unobtrusively above the small herd of roe deer, Tegan picked her target and stealthily separated it from the rest of the herd before going in for the kill. She was so focused on her task she did not notice the strong scent of the human hunters who had spotted her and quickly turned their attention to capturing her. She would fetch them a very good price from the Immortal Hunters, they did not care what these strange, powerful men did to the prey they brought to them. Well, that wasn’t quite true, the Hunters

There was no fear, only expectation. "This is the best type of hunt!" he exclaimed, his grin only growing wider as he continued. "When the predator…becomes prey!"

To give her an advantage, I didn't bother to watch her walk in the direction she chose. The sound of a twig breaking catches my attention, but I pay her no mind. If this is Allison and not some forest animal, she'll know I have noticed her. We're playing a game here, and for now, I'm going to pretend I don't know anything about hunting. I'll let her think that she's the predator and I'm her prey which probably doesn't suspect anything in her opinion. I've noticed that basically everyone- humans, shifters, and animals have one thing in common. They all prefer to attack unsuspecting victims to avoid the possibility of anyone fighting back. It makes sense, too, because it's easier to slit someo

TW-RAPE (not a scene just a mention) “The Black Hunter strikes us once yet again leaving a gruesome mess in the house of the murdered. Despite being a messy murderer, not a trace of DNA can be found. Careful. Whoever he is, what does he want and why has he targeted these specific targets?”

Very confused and a bit concerned she had lost her mind I continued questioning her, “What do you mean your a hybrid? How can you be? My dad was a Hunter and Hunters are human. It doesn’t make any sense!” Elly explained, “Think about it. Yes Hunter’s are generally considered human but that isn’t really the case. They are stronger, more agile and faster than humans. They attribute this to their training but in reality it is their every blood that allows it.” “How do you know all this?” I asked. “Because inner beasts are intrinsically born knowing who and what they are. The Moon Goddess herself bestows this information to us.” “Okay than what are we? Obviously we are werewolves but what truly

I was engaged with a book about hunters which I got from William's old book collection. Hunters were half human and half supernatural. They looked like humans but has speed of werewolves. They can detect any werewolves near by. Their violet eyes starts glowing. Unlike other supernatural creatures hunters did not have other supernatural powers other than their speed that they can only use if their prey is near them.

“I think so. I know not all hunters glow when they use theirs, so I’m not sure if the glow is from my gift or from the god part of me.” “Dorian, was there anything in the archives about a hunter glowing when using their gift? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that either.” Alpha Avery asks him. “Alpha, the only gift that causes a hunter to glow, is when the gift has something to do with seeing or ‘interacting’ with a soul. There are no hunters that currently have a gift like that. Any kind of soul gift is extremely rare.” Well shit. “So if I’m on a hunt, and I use my gift, I’ll glow and give away where I am. And any other hunters that are with me. That seems like the exact opposite of helpful

My chest beat erratically but the air only hung above me, untouched. Suddenly, two large predatorial eyes jumped through the snow towards me. Mane was sleek silver, snow dusting its shimmering tendrils. My arrow angled towards the mongrel. Burning eyes glowed, staring back at me with a sneer. My hands trembled. Sweat broke on my forehead. I had heard of these special wolves. Bigger, faster, more ferocious than the average beast. Never had I come in direct contact, but I knew… it was more than I had bargained. Out here… alone.

The kind of place hunters pretended didn’t exist while building their lies on top of it. Above, the distant thrum of the chopper came and went, circling like a bad omen that refused to settle. Below, Lucian moved faster now, driven by certainty, by the belief that the world owed him one last triumph. Abel slowed. This wasn’t a chase anymore. Chases ended with escape or capture. This was a hunt. And hunts had rules. You let the prey believe it was winning. You let it show you where it was strongest. And then you ended it.
