"This won’t take long." Lexa glared, her body coiled and ready to spring. If she was going out, she’d make it count. But before the hunter could pull the trigger, a blur of white fur barreled into him, sending the crossbow clattering to the ground. Xander’s wolf emerged from the chaos like a force of nature, his ice-blue eyes blazing as he ripped the weapon from the hunter’s grasp. A guttural snarl tore from his throat as he drove the man back with savage precision, leaving no room for retaliation.

Hunter has transitioned into a wicked wolf but is still laying down on the ground. "Shit. Hurry." Axel says and rushes to the cage and opens the door. Dr. Spine enters the cage and quickly puts the collar around Hunter's neck. Hunter lets out another growl. The collar just barely fits around his neck. "Shit, shit, shit, shit." Dr. says while trying to chain the collar to the chains on the wall in the cage. *Click* the chain clicks into the ring on the collar. In the meantime, Hunter has stood up and is now face to face with Dr. Spine. Dr. spine is stuck in the corner and my heart is pounding in my chest. Hunter walks closer to him while showing his teeth and snapping at him.

“You will come with us.” Xander’s growl was a low, resonant rumble that shook the very foundation of the stone. “You’ll bleed first.” There was no warning, as the world broke. Guards surged forward - fifteen, maybe twenty - enough to take down a dozen of an elite Hydra Hunters, enough to choke a small army. They carried silver-woven nets, rune-stamped shock batons, and muzzle-binding chains engineered for supernatural restraint. Xander and his siblings met them like a storm made of bone and pure, tearing teeth.

I felt I needed to learn more about communicating with ghosts and all that, so I decided to watch some of what Trisha had called the pros. I’d noticed that YouTube ghost hunters talked a lot about one Brandon Price, leader of a team called Haunters, like he was the grandfather of paranormal investigation, even over the Warrens and Hans Holzer. "Most hunters die from fights with lycanthropes. We have to counter that. You'll need a gun with silver bullets, a silver sword, a huge vial of mercury and silver armor." Madam Yvonne checked the items off on her fingers.
