My stomach dropped. "What?" He nodded. "I hired investigators to find you after you dared to run from me that morning. It took them a week to find you." Something was slamming hard against my rib cage in a really violent way. I knew what it was. My heart. "I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."

Stephen explained a bit. "Ohhh that's why everyone was tense when I first entered the office. And Max left the office when I had the finger cut". Callum exclaimed and Max nodded. "Yes. Among all of us, Max has the least tendency of blood tolerance. Because he still prefers Human blood unlike us. And mostly unlike me. Because I don’t feed on human blood. Like only once or twice. Hunters are said to be humans with above average abilities , their only aim is to rid the world of supernatural species , more often than not , they tend to go for werewolves and vampires the most . They usually leave seers , witches and related species alone . His statement didn't make sense in the least.
