I honestly didn't think I would ever get back to that point with her. Not only because of the fact that I cheated on her but because of JP.

In the wee hours of the morning. When I try to stand up, my legs feel jelly and I give up on standing. I lie still on the bed rewinding the day and what the hell just happened now? My mind is all back. Whatever happened yesterday was an in-the-moment thing, but the reality of all of it is back. I should not have slept with Luciano with all this going on. My plan to get someone in my pants worked. But it has gone sideways because I am in love again and this time around with this man lying beside me in bed.

JADE As the soft hues of dawn painted my room, I gradually opened my eyes, greeted by the gentle morning light. A lingering smile graced my lips, the memories of last night flooding my mind. Luciano and I actually had sex last night! We made love throughout the entire night and I loved it so much. Eventually, he carried the sleeping Elena from the floor sofa into his bedroom. Placing her on the bed, he lay beside her, staring at her and unable to believe what had just happened. When he began to feel sleepy, he whispered, "I love you, Elena. I love you so much. Now, I don't think I can live without you anymore. I know you're asleep, but I hope that subconsciously you can hear me. Please give me another chance, Elena. Love me again. I promise that I will love you for the rest of my life. I will never hurt you again, and I will never betray you.

Cho-ae definitely fought back against that vulnerability that knocked down her walls, but as everyone was enjoying what was the beginning of the rest of their lives, she was skulking in a corner in her dorm room alone to cry her heart out. Because she shared the very same dorm room with a girl that was (presumably) straight, a girl that likes someone else. Stupid, she was definitely stupid for wasting a night like this. As she drowned out the sounds of the celebrations outside, Cho-ae prayed that these dumb feelings would all go away in the morning, because they should have never even been there in the first place.

When had he happened again? I looked up then. Really looked at him. And suddenly I realized something that terrified me. Somewhere in these three months... I had fallen again. Maybe not all at once. Maybe not loudly. But slowly. Quietly. Piece by piece. Somewhere between burnt breakfasts and bedtime stories and midnight cuddles and family dinners and tiny hands holding ours together, I had somehow fallen in love with him all over again. And maybe that was why my heart was beating so loudly now. Because this did not feel like a first kiss. Not really. It felt like coming back home after being lost for years.
