I only had a cup of coffee for breakfast. Finally, I was done eating. I cleaned my mouth, settled my bills, and headed out. However, I was just so unlucky. I bumped into a guy who was holding a cup of wine in one hand and the bottle in the other. Unfortunately, the wine in the cup poured on my body while the bottle fell on the floor and broke. It was the guy's fault. He wasn't looking at where he was going. I felt so embarrassed as my cloth got ruined. ' What's your problem? What's all this? Couldn't you focus on where you were going?' I yelled angrily.

Beta Jack simply chuckled and kept his eyes on me. "Down doggy," He said and turned to Cameron for a moment, "I just wanted to introduce myself to the new Lu-na." He said and took a few steps closer to the couch. He turned towards me and bowed until he was face-to-face with me. His finger reached out and touched my jaw line as I shook with fear, "Oh, how I miss that tight little mouth of yours." He said and stared at my lips. Cameron grabbed Jack’s shoulder and yanked him back as he went to stand in front of me. He let out a growl as his body started to tense up. "Get away from her," Cameron said and stood in front of me.

I shot Ayle a glare, but she just brushed it off. This girl gives me a sympathetic smile, “I mean, this clueless idiot needs someone to knock some sense into him. And I happened to be there.” “I’m sorry to hear that. It must be hard for you, right?” Rosie replied, playing along. “Am I invisible now?” “Hi guys.” My eyes widen at Bryan who is now standing beside our table. How did this guy know we are here? “What the fuck are you doing here?” Suddenly, Ayle stands up and grabbed her belongings. “I’ll get going now guys, bye. Oh, Rosie, see you soon?”

Then his expression became cold again. “Listen carefully.” he suddenly said and I nodded automatically. “Nobody at school must know about this, not a single soul. I am not your step brother, we don't live together. We are not related and I don't know someone as lame as you. If you as much as breathe this to anyone, I will ruin you I promise.”

But before I could delve deeper into those bitter memories, a voice broke through my thoughts. “It’s hard to tackle someone like Sophia, but you did a great thing back there.” Startled, I turned around quickly, nearly spilling my coffee. A young man stood a few steps behind me, his posture relaxed yet confident. His dark brown hair was neatly combed, and his striking hazel eyes held a hint of amusement as they met mine. He had a sharp jawline, a faint shadow of stubble, and a warm smile that softened his otherwise chiseled features.

There he stood in shock but was soon replaced with a huge snarl. “None of your business, Stephan.” I hissed and backed away until my back collided with the wall. “You’re not welcomed here, little sister." He hissed calmly whilst entering the gym with a bag in his hands. “Uh uh. Didn't ask you.” I shrugged and leaned back, loving the coldness that my body emitted. “Brat.” He mumbled and stood on one of the treadmill.

“I don’t want her to be a weakness, it’s dangerous for both of us. “She looks at me like I’m human, she gets on my soft part and that’s dangerous.” I stood up to fast and fell back to the floor, the position I was before I stood up restricted the blood flow in my leg, and that made my feet numb. The door opened and Bruno stepped out, he stopped dead when he saw me. For a moment, neither of us moved. His facial expression was unreadable, but his eyes looked naked, stripped. Like I had caught him naked. “How much did you hear?” He asked. I looked away from him, batting with the thoughts of saying the truth or lying.

I sit and sigh as my mind wanders and I am taken into a peaceful sleep. I woke up the next morning to Bruno standing in front of me, he had stripped himself and had a smirk on his face. I sat up in the bed quickly and pulled the covers up further. “W-What d-do y-you w-want?” I stuttered but cleared my throat so that I wouldn't come off scared. Instead of answering me he just walked closer with a devious smile on his face, “Oh honey, I'm so sorry about last night. It got out of hand and I promise it won't happen again.”
