I couldn't stop it. His hand reached out, gently, almost too gently, to cup my cheek. His thumb brushed over my skin, sending shivers through me. Then, he leaned in. His lips, soft this time, brushed against mine. My eyes fluttered shut. It was quick, a fleeting touch, but it sparked something I hated. Disgust, yes, but also a tiny, unwelcome spark of... something else.

"Which one's your favourite?" Her mind struggled to shift gears, still reeling from the earlier panic and the unexpected safety she'd found in Luke's arms. She couldn't believe she was clinging to him, her face buried in his chest, yet it felt....dare she say it...right. "Uh, 'Twilight'," she said, her voice muffled against his shirt. His chest rumbled with a gentle laugh. "Not bad, I'm more into action movies." As they spoke, Luke's gaze scanned the elevator, searching for anything that could help them escape. His eyes landed on a slightly opened panel on the wall beside them, almost undetectable in the dim light.

I didn’t want to have a run-in with her when I snuck out. “I don’t want to.” She shook her head. “I won’t go, then.” I smiled at her, making sure to hide any sign of deceit. We spent the entire day binge-watching the Twilight series, just how I liked to spend birthdays. Selena always complained about how the werewolf didn’t get the girl, but it didn’t matter to me. It was Bella’s choice. “Aw, come on. I bet she wouldn’t have suffered this much—” “If she had ended up with Jacob, you say that every single time we reach the birth scene.” I giggled, kissing her cheeks.

She clicked the ‘send’ button. "Miss Twilight, does that coffee taste good?" The familiar voice was so cold that Light almost choked on her coffee.

When I could not get all the references she did, she suggested that it be easier if she showed me the scenes mentioned and it ended up that we watched movie after movie in my room. Because I was a busy Jordan, I did not have much time to watch movies, and when I did, I had time to watch movies, and when I did, I had a preference for the action-packed ones. When I saw the scenes that Stanlay was talking about, I shot them down right away. Every shifting scene was terrible and inaccurate. After a little protest, I surrendered to my friend's whims and we watched the Twilight movies. Stanlay knew she had already seen them many times and did not mind when I skipped certain parties with shimmering

Almost as if we are soulmates. Watching the fairies and sprites dancing around and glowing, almost like glitter coming all around us, is so amazing. Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that fairies were real. Let’s face it when Twilight came out, most the girls were either team Jacob or Edward; however I didn’t believe in vampires or werewolves.

With any luck she’d be hooked just like every other girl, on the first movie and insist on watching the whole series, keeping her busy for the rest of the night. I pulled the popcorn from the microwave and poured in into a bowl with a bag of M&M’s I was sure were stashed for Sophie. Then I settled on the couch beside her and pulled up Twilight, letting out one more groan as the opening sequence started. Kelly was going to give me hell for this, I just knew it. ***

She pouted, making Zander look at Reyne. "Wanna go?" He transferred the authority of taking the decision to her. While Zane as well as Wendy stared at her, Reyne gaped at her friend for her opinion before she said, "Umm, I don't mind if we watch Twilight rather than Fifty Shades of Grey." All the eyes shifted at her that Reyne's back steeled and she confusingly blinked at her mate as if asking him the cause of all their stares. He was about to open his mouth but another voice spoke behind them, "They will not watch Twilight as the hero is a vampire and Jacob who's a wolf is made third wheel. You see, their wolfy ego won't let them watch the movie."

he whispered. I gasped as I did not even realize when he got up and leaned closer to me. “Let’s watch the movie. What would you like to watch” I got up and went towards my study table placed near the window so that I could look outside when I sit here to do some work. “I am fine with anything you chose” he muttered. I looked back at him. He still had a small smile playing on his lips. “How about the Twilight saga” I suggested. “Your taste has not changed at all” he muttered.
