I hold it to my mouth, keeping my eyes on him. A sharp smirk crosses his face. “Yeah, figured.” I bite into the strawberry on purpose, and watch his jaw tighten like he’s fighting a losing battle. I smile around it. “See? Stress relief.” He leans in closer, his hands brushing my scalp. “You’re gonna be the end of me, Hermione.” He leans in and bites into the strawberry I’m holding. We both chew it into each other’s mouths, exchanging fluids, and it's a slow, sweet rush.

" Harry was the head of Sable, also known as One. But I understand that he doesn't call Harry by codenames because they are just cousins. Me? I think they were just called by their names, but I used their codenames when talking to them. "Copy, Six." I just shook my head because he was smiling again. Haymitch reminds me of Arius and Saki. He’s still struggling. “If it ever gets to be too much,” Hermes tells him, “I can remove your immortality. Let you go.” Alex looks like a weight’s been lifted. “That helps. I just needed to know it wasn’t permanent if it became unbearable.” Hermes touches his cheek. “So? What do you say?” Alex kisses him. “Yes.”
