He could not refrain himself from screaming in agony despite being a strong, masculine man. On the other hand, Scrag and Fatso felt a shiver down their spines upon hearing the agonizing scream while they ran. They turned around to take a glance and found Zayn tossing Javier’s shattered body aside. Then, Zayn looked toward them, his gaze filled with mockery and contempt. Soon afterward, Zayn went after them. They felt a feeling of fear that they had never experienced before upon witnessing the scene and exerted every ounce of strength they had to run.

Then, Annie continued, the ins and outs of becoming a good vampire and what it entails, just as Rick had explained before. Suddenly, Zac yelled out again, screaming from deep within his chest, then he quickly stifled it again. "Don't fight it, Zac," I cooed, gently stroking his hair from his face. "Go ahead and scream." He shook his head just as a scream erupted from deep within his chest. Over the time he burned, he screamed when he needed to, but then tried to stifle them when he could. He never once asked me to kill him, though. And I sat beside him through it all, holding his hand, beside his burning bed.

"Larry!" Jasmine screamed from Warren’s arms. She watched in horror as the man Warren had just kicked, Larry Robson, tumbled down the stairs. The moment he hit the landing, a zombie lunged at him. Its claws slashed toward his eyes. Then, its teeth sank into his neck. A spray of bright red blood splattered across the pale ceiling. The zombies chasing behind them immediately stopped pursuing the others. The scent of blood was too strong. They swarmed Larry, tearing into him.

Violent. "They can't stop!" Zack shouted, holding a young scout who was halfway through a transformation. The boy’s jaw was elongated, his teeth jagged and bloody, but his human eyes were still wide with terror. "The moon... Vic, it’s the moon! The frequency is too high! It’s forcing the shift, but it’s not letting go!"

He was terrified. "Don’t blame me. Ruby, don’t blame me…" Grinding his teeth, he didn’t slow down. Instead, he slammed the accelerator all the way down. "Zachary! You’ll go to hell for this!" Ruby’s voice broke into a final, desperate scream. The force tore her grip loose, finger by finger. She fell into the horde. In an instant, countless zombies swarmed over her. "AHHH—!" Her screams echoed, swallowed by the sickening sound of tearing flesh.

Another zombie was met with her claws ripping into its chest as she ripped its heart out. She felt hands on her back and yanked the snarling zombie to her before propelling it upwards and it came crashing to the ground with a growl. She drove her boot into its head, crushing it instantly. Its head felt like noodles. Diana almost chuckled at the thought. Noodles should have been the last thing on her mind at that moment. Feeling a movement behind her, she quickly ducked and at the same time, grabbed the neck of the invader and immediately cocked it to the side. The sickening sound of a crack filled her ears.

Another zombie in a janitor's uniform had been drawn over by the noise, and it rushed out of the darkness and bit down on Julian's calf. "Ah!" A shrill scream tore through the dead silence of the hallway. The zombie's sharp teeth pierced straight through the magazines Julian had tied around his calf and ripped off a large chunk of flesh along with a piece of his pants. The pain triggered Julian's will to survive. He struggled wildly and grabbed a dry fire extinguisher from the wall. He swung it with every bit of strength he had and slammed it into the suited zombie's head. Bang! The zombie's head caved in, and black blood splattered across Julian's face.

I whisper in a trembling voice, chills rushing down my veins. I knew he was a devil, but I underestimated what this devil could do in reality. He smirks and tilts his head to the side. His lips stretch further, and he grins like a maniac, his eyes widening. "Stay away from me! Get away from me!" I scream as he draws closer like a blood thirsty zombie. My heart races as my eyes dart from one butchered, displayed body to another, the terror and horror increasing with each shift of gaze.

She's almost bald, and one of her eyes is missing. She opens her mouth wide, dripping thick slime down her chest, and lunges at me. I scream as she knocks us down to the road, and the gun goes flying from my hand. My head cracks against the pavement, and I grit my teeth against the pain while struggling to keep the zombie from sinking her teeth into my throat.

The first zombie broke through the defenses, its rotting fingers grabbing the edge of the deck as it climbed up! "Ah!" Screams erupted instantly. The zombie was bloated. Its eyes hung on its cheeks as it lunged straight at me. "Clarissa!" Hans yelled, immediately raising his gun and aiming at the zombie in front of me. The next second, he was immediately drawn to Winnie's scream. "Hans! I'm scared!" He hesitated for a second before immediately turning his gun toward the zombies near Winnie. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach.
