I mean it won't be the first time but it'd be the first I would see him as a badass Adam. ~~~~* Finally after what seemed like eternity when it was just barely fifty minutes drive, the girls pulled into the driveway of The Oscars on 6th Avenue. "The name of this club is so lame," Kiara muttered immediately they stepped down from the car. "Let's hope the club isn't as lame as the name says," Cindy added. Shelly laughed. "Trust me guys, it's not going to be anything but amaze-balls!" "Alright then, get into the party spirit!" Kiara giggled excitedly as she began sashaying down the path.

"Damian! Since when do you invite strangers to eat with us? Did you ask me first?" I gave a dismissive shrug. "No thanks. I have things to do." Honestly, I did not know why she still acted so smug. Clara had already filled me in on their situation earlier. Apparently, after I left, both Damian and Waverly had been fired from their jobs for 'improper conduct' and the negative attention their scandal attracted. Since then, Damian had been selling boxed lunches on the street to support their family. Waverly was, as always, a handful. Clara said she fought with Damian every other day and threw full-blown tantrums whenever things did not go her way.

Then she slipped upstairs to make another entry in her book. ~*~ On Sunday afternoon Emily came over to hang around in her room and just watched a senseless show. "We need a motto for our club, too," Emily suddenly said. "Like 'Winning isn't everything.' or 'Useful as the G in Lasagna.'" Jane giggled, but then she had a sudden inspiration. "I have it. 'Not all losers are born. Some are made. Others have losing thrust upon them.'" "Where did you get that?" Emily asked suspiciously.

Artemis admits it was a dick move but he let it slide in the name of friendship. It was his worst mistake, in his defense; he thought he will still have his chance. He lost it. If only he didn’t become such a coward. If only he introduced himself to Kate despite josh’s rebuttal. If only…

I retort, and his grin only fuels my irritation. “Fiery Athena, I like it,” he says, his voice full of mocking admiration as I ignore him and start walking toward the club. He follows me, still grinning, as we head inside. After washing up in the bathroom, I join my parents and Josh in the club’s restaurant. My father has already prepared a glass of orange juice and my favorite breakfast: pancakes and cheesy scrambled eggs. Although the food looks delicious, I have no appetite. I scan the restaurant, hoping to catch a glimpse of Cassian, but he’s nowhere to be seen. My father and Wesley are deep in discussion about the stock market, with Josh chiming in occasionally.

Pov. Amber I hop off my motorcycle and whip my helmet off, I look around the school parking lot to see the group that I spotted when I rolled in, staring at me. One of the men really catches my attention. He has to be about six foot six, he has jet black hair and cold gray eyes. He’s leaning on a 1969 black Impala. Out of nowhere some chick in a cheerleading outfit pops up in front of me. “Hi I’m Josephina!” She yells at me in one of those peppy voices you would hear in one of the “Bring It On: movies.

Let's see how you explain that to your family. Her face was gloomy, and her eyes were cold. With that, she stormed off to chase after Matthew. However, she seemed to forget that while the marriage pact between the Coleman family and the Lowe family was hard to break, the Coleman family had more than one daughter. The buzz of my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. It was a message from Matthew. "Christopher, so what if you've got the Lowe family behind you? Tessa will always side with me. "I guess you'll be spending Christmas alone in your wheelchair. You're just a cripple. Do you think you can compete with me?"

No other families in Centuria by the name of Keaton are fit to be part of the social upperclass besides us, losers! Ophelia then turned to Aubrey and hissed out, "So what if you have good grades? So what if you spent the whole year preparing for this program? One word from my father and all your effort will go to waste!" Aubrey lowered her head, knuckles turning white as she clenched them. I immediately understood something upon seeing Aubrey's reaction. This Ophelia Keaton girl must've constantly bullied Aubrey here at the university. Christine was never one to flaunt her influence and had always hoped Aubrey and I could make a name for ourselves. That was why Aubrey and I never revealed ou

They normally reserve the kind of girl he likes. He is a regular customer they wouldn't like to lose. He got drunk before he decided to leave the club. "Sir, you are drunk, let me drive you home." A man he met in the club offered to help him but Little did he know that he was a kidnapper. His drink was drugged and though he was used to it any time he went to the club, this time was different as it had been a long he took drugs. It affected him for a while giving the man the opportunity to take him away.

I hadn't expected to run into Hendrick Jefferson in the living room after leaving his grandmother's room. He had seemingly just returned, with a few friends of his from other wealthy families following from behind. Kellan Lester sneered when he saw me. "Whitney Xander, what a hardworking lapdog you are, buzzing around Hendrick incessantly like a fly." The group of men burst out into laughter while Hendrick flopped himself down onto the couch, crossing one leg over the other. He stared at me coldly, his face dripping with disdain.
