I shook my head, wiping the corner of my eyes with my ringless finger. “I-I’m sorry,” I say, in between fits, “It's just that this whole thing”, I gesture between the two of us, “is fucking hilarious, don't you think?” The corners of his lips twitch slightly, fighting an annoyed smile “Funny isn't the word I would use to describe your current situation, Solnishko” There's an edge in the way he says those words that cause the laughter to quickly die down on my tongue. What the fuck did he mean by that?

To him, the joke fell flat. "See! The truth is that what that person is saying isn't hilarious, but I've heard a number of people discussing this movie, and they all claim that the novel is funny, which it isn't. I'm now playing along merely to avoid looking like a jerk." I make a stern expression at Arthur before laughing out loud. I honestly don't see anything else that's hilarious in this movie, but since everyone else is laughing, I decided to join in. Arthur shakes his head, understanding why my laughing sounded forced.

This is the most goals joke as long as I've heard. "You're kidding, right? I swear! That's funny. Wow! If you join to stand up comedy, I make sure you can be the winner." "Na," said Mommy quietly. Chiko still showing his smile. "I'm serious and this is not a joke. You can tell the difference too, right?" Shit!

Is he still laughing at me? "Are you making me fun because of me?" I punched his arm while asking. "Fck, I can't stop laughing." My gad, what's funny? "What's funny? And stop cursing no!" I am really irritated right now but yeah it's effective. He doesn't remember my food hehe.

“I don’t want them to be, you know.” “Come on, everyone knows.” It just has the heavier maid laugh outright. She moves her hand, and the two laugh. “Right, right.” They keep laughing as if it’s the funniest joke in the world. Their fangs are out and stained yellow from the tobacco. It must be that funny to them. But I don’t find it funny. I don’t see anything; I just heard it to be funny. And I find the laughter grating. It stings my ears until I can’t stand the sound.

It made me laugh again. “Why are you laughing like that?” Serena asked, eyeing me suspiciously and I shrugged. “Nothing special, nothing serious. It’s just funny” I replied and Serena raised an eyebrow at me but I just merely shrugged again. “Something I thought was something else but suddenly made a lot of sense to me right now. I’m finding it funny because I made a big deal out of it and now it’s such a trivial matter” I added and Serena nodded.

"Johnny, seriously? Enough already. You haven't answered my calls or come home, and now you're here causing a scene? There's a time and place for tantrums. I'll have the driver take you home." She reached out to grab my arm. I stepped back, dodging her touch, and let out a laugh. "Don't flatter yourself, Sylvie. I'm not here for you." Tyler cut in, voice sharp and mocking. "Johnny, today's for professionals. You're not seriously here to compete in design, are you? Do you even know design? I mean, I get that you're in love with Sylvie, but you don't need to humiliate yourself." Sylvie frowned slightly, perhaps uncomfortable with his tone. But then she noticed something—something on my face.

Dylan snarls. Is it harsh? Yes…Is it appropriate punishment? Maybe not, but is it funny? Certainly from where I am standing.

He probably had. “Hey, Mum,” he slurred, rubbing his eyes beneath his shades. “Got your message. Is Danny really…?” He trailed off as he saw her expression. “You smell like a bar,” she said coldly. “I came straight from… well, it doesn’t matter, does it? I’m here now.” She turned away from him in disgust. He flopped into a chair like the world owed him a soft landing, letting out a dramatic sigh. “He’ll be fine, right? Danny always pulls through. He’s like a cockroach. Unkillable.”
