Entwined With Karma

Entwined With Karma

“Any favorite books?” She thought for a moment. “I guess I’ve always liked classic novels. Jane Austen, especially.” She looked at him, expecting maybe a polite nod, but his gaze held an amused glint. “Austen, huh? Let me guess—Pride and Prejudice?” he asked with a teasing smile. Kendall laughed softly, feeling her cheeks warm. “Yes, actually. How’d you know?” He shrugged, his eyes playful. “Just a hunch. The whole ‘stubborn but secretly thoughtful hero’ thing seems to have an appeal.”

I have been opportune to read the first episode n it's very interesting n captivating that I want to know the full story. Imagining how a single lady hoping to start life ahead will go for a test just to be told that she is cancerous, oh my God! for me it's devastating. This unfolding story is wow!

A Deal with the Devil

A Deal with the Devil

She noticed my blank expression and threw up her hands in frustration which made me want to laugh but I kept my face neutral. "It's a corset top. It needs to tied up real tight from behind." She explained like I was a five year old and I cleared my throat as my mind was thinking about all the ways I could rip it apart and caress her waist from behind. "You could have asked for help from your stylist. Where are they?" I asked, looking around to find no one in sight. I noticed a copy of Persuasion by Jane Austen on her bed and a bathrobe. I've noticed her reading this book multiple times this week.

RECKLESS VOWS

RECKLESS VOWS

"Especially not a novel about a woman trapped in a loveless marriage to a controlling billionaire." Jane's words from days ago came rushing back. *Does he know about the novel you're writing?* "Jane told you." "Jane confirmed what I already suspected." He opened a drawer and pulled out a printed manuscript—her novel. "You left your laptop open more than once. I was curious." "That's a violation of my privacy!" She reached for the pages, but he held them back. "It's good," he said, catching her off guard. "The characterization is strong. The dialogue feels authentic."

Her Demand, His Desire

Her Demand, His Desire

"I believe it has its own value. I've always had a passion for reading and writing." Grandma Ellie jumps in, eyes sparkling. "Oh, how wonderful! I love literature. Do you have a favorite author, dear?" I smile sincerely upon her excitement. "I'm quite fond of Jane Austen. Her insights into society and character are timeless." "Ah, a classic choice," Harold puts in, nodding appraisingly. "Pride and Prejudice is a masterpiece." Rebecca leans back in her chair, swirling her wine glass reflectively. "Personally, I find those stories a bit dull. All that talk of manners and marriage prospects. Don't you think, Pamela?"

AGAINST THE FATES

AGAINST THE FATES

Pride and Prejudice. "Really? Jane Austen? I thought you'd have found some new novel for me! You were always complaining about looking for expanding my horizons." "And you were always going on about classics, Fifi. Come, sit here and read the book." Adi scooted over as he made space for her to sit but the sheer action of getting into bed with him made her tremble. 'Please remember that you are not a virgin, Fifi! You don't have to be so on edge!" Faith reminded herself failing to realize that she was addressing herself with the nickname he used.

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Natasha revealed an embarrassed but polite smile and said, "We're just reading these novels for fun to cure boredom. If everything is required to be logical and make some sense, what's the point of reading novels? After all, these books are fictional! How could there possibly be so many domineering CEOs in the world?" "Fine! In the end, let me summarize one thing. It seems that you girls like guys who treat other women very coldly and act coquettish to yourselves only. To put it bluntly, isn't this quite sultry? D*mn it! Aren't Jonason and George similar to this type of guy?" Christin suddenly became angry.

A Breeder For The Alpha King

A Breeder For The Alpha King

If she finds out that I spent the night with the King. Thinking about it my face started to burn, remembering everything we had done. He took me in different positions, giving me great pleasure in all of them. Johannes was deliciously wonderful. I was very happy and dying to read a beautiful novel, so I chose a human book, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Yes I know. Darcy may not be considered an excellent man, but Elizabeth also has her flaws and I love to see how the two evolve during the plot. When the clock strikes noon, I get up and decide to go back to my room and wait for Johannes, as he wants to have lunch with me.

A year and half

A year and half

"Filled to the brim." "Well," Instead of speaking right away, he stretched his arm out and displayed the gift bag. "It's for you." I blinked, slowly retrieving the bag and looking down at the brown paper parcel in it. "You got me something?" He nodded. Cautiously, I fetched the parcel and looked at him for a brief moment before opening it, and inside I found a leather box containing six seemingly identical old cloth-covered books. What the— I inspected the books closely, six of Austen's most renowned novels were in my hands, and honestly, I had a mixed reaction. I picked up the one titled Emma and opened the front cover that bore a dedication – to the then Prince Regent, the future King Geor

Love To Hate My Stepbrother

Love To Hate My Stepbrother

He follows it up with silk hand gloves which he drops on my palms. Quietly, I follow his orders, taking care not to rip the hand gloves with my hastiness. "You can open it now." He pronounces. "You can't get much cleaner than that." With shaky hands, I skim the hand cover of the book, running my fingers through it and feeling the hard leather beneath my tips. Flipping it open, I stare in shock at the words written there. Pride and prejudice. Written by Jane Austen. Edited by William Gifford.
