Susy asked, suddenly animated, jumping up from the couch before taking the booklet from Jenny. “I came across it today at the antiquarian bookstore near the shop,” Jenny said enthusiastically. “Will you lend it to me once you’ve read it?” Susy asked. “You can take it today,” Jenny smiled. “I’m reading something else right now, so go ahead and take it. Just return it when you’re done.” “Thank you so much!” Susy said excitedly, and the girls hugged. Susy sat back down on the couch, Jenny grabbed a few crackers, and then she looked at the guys.

Instead, she steps back and gives me a chance to show my fans appreciation. Once we make it past the crowd, we quickly make our way to the bookstore. Doubt tries to creep into my mind as I lead Jena to the door of the bookstore, but I keep walking, telling myself that she wrote a book to me first and this will just be slightly more public than the privacy she probably wanted with the book. Jenny winked at her and replied-" Of course"

It was far and away her best practice session of the week. Jenna had continued to be a bit quiet and reserved, sharing only a few more minor details about herself and her life, but Leesa was fine with that. Jenna was more than four hundred years old and had been a loner almost all of that time. Old habits were difficult to break, as Leesa knew as well as anyone. Besides, Leesa was also reserved and cautious by nature and was keeping secrets of her own from Jenna and others. Still, the two women shared a bond of magic and were slowly forging a deeper and more trusting friendship.
