The gallery became quiet. Not silent. Thoughtful. Jessica slowly turned the final page. Then looked up. Camille appeared nervous again. Terrified, actually. The sight made Jessica smile. Because she remembered that feeling. Believing in an idea. Wondering whether anyone else would. "What are you calling it?" Camille hesitated. Then answered. "The Oak Project."

Yazed returned to his mother’s room and found Jenny sitting quietly next to Amber. She was reading a book about business. His mother remained asleep, to his surprise. "Oh, you're already here." Jennelyn greeted the young man warmly. If she was in a different situation, she would have thrown away the book she was just holding. She didn't particularly like reading and she didn't understand anything in that book. Another thing that annoyed her was that Amber was obviously just pretending to be asleep and didn't want to talk to her.

Gwen shrugs and thinks for a moment. "Don't be afraid to make noise. Having a silent partner is awkward and will make her think you're not enjoying it." she says. I grab my notebook out of my bag and flip to the page with my clit diagram, scribbling a few notes underneath it. We eventually disband and Gwen points out that we only have a few more weeks of book club. I find myself slightly disappointed at the thought. I've come to really enjoy these nights. "You think you would want to do another book club?" I ask Jack. He shrugs in response.

As ever, Jenny is in the library. What is she looking at? As he watches, she slips a book from the shelves. 'Just Six Numbers.' Martin Rees. Mr Kalkowski nods a small satisfied nod. An interest in astronomy is almost bound to lead to an interest in cosmology. Still unaware of his presence, Jenny sits at the table with her book, humming a soft tune. "Good morning Jenny. You're sounding very cheerful this morning." She startles and twists, for one moment the fear showing....

They entered, drawn in by the aroma of well-loved books and the faint rustling of pages turning. A pleasant bookseller approached them as they surveyed the shelves, their eyes wide with wonder. "Are you looking for anything in particular?" she said, her voice kind and welcoming. Lucian grinned. "We're open to surprises; what do you recommend?" The bookseller's eyes twinkled with enthusiasm. "Ah, then, let me introduce you to our Book Club, which meets here every week to engage in fascinating literary discussions, and you're welcome to join them."
