Darius's POV Winter arrived the way it arrived in mountain territories — overnight, definitively, without the gradual negotiation of lower elevations. One morning the yard was autumn. The next it was white. Soren's response to first snow was immediate and comprehensive: he was outside before anyone had finished breakfast, in wolf pup form for approximately thirty seconds to assess it properly, then back to human form and back outside to assess it with his hands, a more thorough methodology. He brought samples inside. Showed them to Caelum, who confirmed that snow had existed for the entirety of his four-century awareness. This appeared to be the correct answer.

Of course, there was, and something told him that reason was Melia. Now he looked at the Sheriff and took the list, and as Stuff's phone rang, he stepped away. "You're not in Earth 500, right?" The snow elf asked. "I know you're only counting 205 years, but when everything changes drastically and transports you to a very different world, the seconds, hours, days, months, years, they increase. The number changes." He explained. "They're consequences that are taken." "And you?" He looked at Rebekah. "How much have you been...?"

When Ryan mumbled and sat down on the floor, Janet came up behind him and snatched the book from his grasp. Holy Crap! Finn's thesis on the subject of time travel is presented here. After a few minutes of careful reading, it became clear that this was no longer about time travel. It tells the story of an ancient lycan and his mate, and the journey they took from the 17th century to the 13th century during that time.

I haven’t been home in so many years. “Can I go inside?” I question into the air, looking back at Time who is given me enough space to react if I decided to charge at him in anger. Luckily for him, the sight of my home, standing beneath the falling flakes, has replaced my initial anger with a sense of comfort. Time steps beside me, the heaped snow sinking beneath his feet. “Not the best idea. We are in a timeline before you died. Well, in only a few minutes you’ll be...you know.”

“Jonas, what date was that?” “March 12th.” Sophie’s voice came through the earpiece. “That’s two weeks from now.” They ran a full molecular clock scan. Jonas’s cells matched the current timeline. He hadn’t been time-displaced. No wormhole tricks. No quantum gaps. His biology was consistent. His memories weren’t. Elias reviewed the notes in silence, flipping through Sophie’s breakdown. Jonas remembered events that hadn’t happened. People who didn’t exist. And some who did — but weren’t where he thought they were.

I sigh, nodding as I keep my eyes close. I don't know if I fell asleep throughout the drive, or if Jasper used his creepy time manipulation powers to pass time, but when I next opened my eyes, snow covered the ground, evening had set in, and we were parked outside a quaint little building. "A home, for now," Jasper says, as he notices me come to again. I force a slight smile onto my face. The future is uncertain, but hopefully I can trust Jasper to make it somewhat bearable.
