The quicker I got to him, the better. Someone threw me to the ground, and I rolled, bringing the sword close to my body. I stopped extending my arm to attack when I noticed it was Jordan in human form. He was cradling his arm while his slashed skin was slowly stitching itself back with our Lycan healing ability. He was as confused as I was, which made me think he hadn’t expected the silver either.

I rolled my eyes, blushing a little while Jared's face twisted in disgust. “Okay enough, now it’s time to train,” Silver said. He led me to a place with Jared behind us. We got to a more private area that was filled with woods and grass. “Why are we training here?” I asked. “Well we need a big open space,” Silver said, dropping the bag he was carrying. He brought out some silver knives, daggers, swords and arrows. Then suddenly he threw a small dagger at me, I acted on reflex, catching the dagger that was aiming for my head.

“Thank you.” My mouth hung open when I heard that, the emotions clearly written on my face. Even Silver looked mildly surprised, a light acknowledgment visible in his eyes. Silver then snorted softly, his bubbly aura slowly returning back, the atmosphere that was previously gloomy cleared up. “I am going to catch her now,” Silver vanished. His speed shocked me because I could not believe that anything could move that fast. “He's a thousand years old, he can do things that seem crazy to us.” Cayden explained.
