Chapter 40 Elara's Pov One more event and then, it was over. Finally, the election was coming to an end. Cassian had hand picked a dress for me. The first time he was doing something like this. He called me to his chambers and handed the dress to me. He never mentioned a word about Rowan, it was just a simple, ‘prepare, for the interview tomorrow.’ The dress hung on the wardrobe. It was a yellow colour, my favourite. This still had a high collar and long sleeves to cover my bruises.

Cassius asked as they bathed together, his fingers trailing down her back as the running water fell on them. "Hmm. Why do you ask?" He wrapped his arms around her and whispered, "They are quite difficult, Rebel. I know you know that, but I can't help but worry a little." Tatiana smiled. "I'll be fine.
