Mrs Xavier

Mrs Xavier

Her blond friend next to her not of any difference. Freaks. The guys quickly chew the food in their mouth before turning to face the girls. Faces red from embarrassment. "Me and my friend were wondering if you'd like to dance." She blond haired barbie smile flirtatiously at jack. "Well, why not?" A broad grin bloomed on Jack's lips. Loosely adjusting his tie. "Be right back Pari." He winked at me. The takes her hand, leading her to the dance floor. Zack could only stare helplessly while he is also dragged along by the other girl. Eyes heading with me for help.

The Grace of a Thousand Stars

The Grace of a Thousand Stars

And this time didn't change anything. Less than an hour later, and the said woman was on the counter, a drink in one hand as she waved her hips, dancing to a KPOP song that she had requested the bartender to play, and instead of telling her to get off the counter like a responsible person, the other's followed in her footsteps instead.

Rude Awakenings

Rude Awakenings

“This is not a bar.” “No,” she smirked, dragging her fingers through her wavy hair before flicking it over her shoulder, eyes sparkling at the sight of the congested dance floor. “I just… I really want to dance,” she pouted. Kate sighed, “Fine. Go and dance. I’ll go and get us some drinks.” “Don’t be too long,” Paloma whined before she shimmied off into the crowd, her bloated belly the only indication that she was carrying a human. Kate didn’t know how she had the energy.

This was so good. The main characters were properly fleshed out and I ended up loving Paloma. Colton essentially being a redeemable bum in need of therapy and stability was super realistic. Everyone having regular jobs was a breath of fresh air. The sex has you wishing you could be Kate. Solid read

Definitely one of my favorites, love the journey to love for Colton and Kate. They feel so real and it’s a roller coaster of emotions, with a psycho stalker for more thrills. Not sure why it’s broken into 2 books but reading back to back still flows. Thank you, author!!

The Tyrant alpha

The Tyrant alpha

Stand there awkwardly and wish they’d stop? Close by, a female yips. Behind you! Ashleen appears at my side and bumps me with her hip. “Like this, Annie. Look at my feet.” She slows her steps, so gracefully, until it seems she’s dancing in slow motion. “There are eight bars.” She begins to clap. “One-two-three and two-two-three and three-two-three and four-two-three.” She bounces in time to her counting, and since she’s watching my feet, and I’ve always been the most well-behaved student in any class, I bounce, too.

Lost in the Dance

Lost in the Dance

He asked, rummaging at the cupboard. “Certainly, not,” she said. “Can you make some pizza?” She looked at him, smiling. She could almost see the sincerity of the woman at the man who started to prepare the ingredients he needed for the request. Then another scenario unfolded. She was at a party. She couldn’t see anyone whom she recognized and she couldn’t hear anything else aside from the blast of music on the speaker. This is definitely not a place she would go to. She wonders what she is doing here. She went around and saw someone, at the ledge of the bar, she dances well but she already looks drunk. She was dancing with some people on the ledge, I could see other people following her move

Pinky Promise

Pinky Promise

Almost everyone was dancing with their partner; only a very few of the boys were still very shy to approach the girls who were still standing there as they were the ones who were left. For jealousy not to come in between the girls, the teachers were intervening and making the rest of the boys confident enough to ask the girls for a dance who were still standing in front of them. This was being done on purpose so that everyone had a partner to dance with, and it was quite successfully done. Everybody was on the floor moving their body as the sound of music was taking them over. Jean was one of the girls who were left to be asked for a dance. Maybe the guys didn’t like the way that she was dre

One last dance

One last dance

I replied and sipped the content of the champagne in my glass while Belle chuckled. I held her head and placed a deep kiss on her lips to her surprise. "Just because you look amazing tonight. I will reward Pablo for this look." Belle smiled and blinked her eyes once at me. "I need to talk to my family, click my glass with theirs and then we'll have a dance." "Sure thing." She said, completely okay with it. "Wait here." I said to her and then walked away to where my family stood, still wondering why Belle wasn't standing with them and when she would begin to feel comfortable enough to.

Bloody Barbies

Bloody Barbies

she snapped, “I need to get back the shop before the boss has my head. Is this about the Bloody Barbies again?” Bloody Barbie was the nickname Maria gave to the murders ever since she’d gotten involved as a suspect. It was an apt name. Each crime scene that had been investigated was painted red with each victim’s blood, and in each one there would be a bloody doll left behind (though, not exactly a Barbie), no less than three feet away from the body.

Mark of an Alpha's Mate

Mark of an Alpha's Mate

With an eye roll, I shook my head at this man, ready to tell him to shut the fuck up, that it was only till Michael came back then we'd be gone because we were leaving tomorrow anyway. Maybe I should have just stayed back like José. But the wolfish smile on Jackson’s face made me spin on my stool... out of curiosity of course. And there in the middle of the bar, is a lone girl who’d made the floor her personal dance club. I couldn’t help but stare. Dancing along to the croon of George Strait, she had no rhythm. She was clapping off the beat, but still, she was shaking her hips, swinging her long brown hair, and laughing like a gorgeous, dancing wild thing.

CRIMSON AND FUR

CRIMSON AND FUR

I didn't care about silly politics. "Sure Pink." I replied with one of my charming smiles. Let's dance. I led her forward just as the band started playing a slow song, so that we could look I to each other's eyes while dancing. Pink smiled, showing a nice dentition, but I noticed her teeth had been worked on. "I thought you were dating Clarrisa?" I smiled. She had no clue. "I thought so too." I answered simply. Her smile grew bigger. "You know, I've really liked you since --"
