The First Heir

The First Heir

Klaus frowned with an urge to vomit blood! He looked around. All the people he had brought were pressed to the ground! There were more than a dozen fighter jets hovering in the sky, more than a dozen armored vehicles in the rear, and hundreds of guards! Klaus knew that he had been set up today! Very thoroughly too! This seemingly ordinary person was actually from such a big background! To be able to mobilize fighters and special guards, he was definitely not an ordinary person! That stupid nephew of his… Who the hell did he provoke? Their family was going to be ruined by him!

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

she called, surprised. "I need some urgent information from you!" Klaus stated urgently, his serious eyes hidden behind sunglasses. "You can talk," Aurora agreed. Klaus hesitated for a moment upon realizing they weren't alone. Taking off his sunglasses, his mood shifted abruptly, and he displayed a seductive smile. "How rude of me! Pleasure to meet you, I'm Klaus!" "Frederick. Pleasure to meet a friend of Aurora's," Frederick intervened, extending his hand. "Available whenever you want!" Klaus replied, winking provocatively.

Allie
At times it was frustrating reading because the author kept switching between first person and third person in the same paragraph, even when writing from the character’s POV. However, the book improved and was emotional at times. Glad for Aurora’s maturity growth as the story developed. Great ending

I absolutely love this book. By the end of the first chapter I was invested in the characters and how the story developed. I was unable to put this down until I read all 30 chapters. Amazing job and I am desperate for a update!

The Healer and The Beast

The Healer and The Beast

"You know why we're here." "I know." The words tasted like ash. Like death. "Three years ago, you lost control. You slaughtered innocents. Your own people." Klaus's voice was steady, but his hands shook. "Three hundred souls. Gone because you couldn't contain the beast inside you." Kael nodded. Speaking felt impossible. "You turned celebration into massacre. Hope into horror. A night of joy into our worst nightmare." "I know what I did."

It was a beautiful, expensive cage. Klaus was standing by a long kitchen island, pouring water into a glass. He wasn't wearing his suit jacket anymore. His white shirt was unbuttoned at the collar, and his sleeves were rolled up. He looked at me, and for a second, I saw a flash of something in his eyes, but it was gone before I could name it. "You’re late," he said. "The traffic was bad," I replied, staying near the elevator. "And I had to wait for the doctor to give me an update."

Klaus

Klaus

ALVA The sound of the car engine roused me from my half-sleep as Nikolas pulled up in front of me. That was what I got for insisting I made breakfast for all three of us despite staying up super late the night before and playing a game of 'we aren't really strangers' with Nikolas. For me, it was some sort of escapism. When Nikolas got through to me, it always felt like I was betraying Charis' memory. At the same time, it felt wrong to continue to judge Klaus by actions he committed in the past when it was crystal clear he wasn't that sort of person anymore. I patted an equally sleepy Samuel and carried him in my arms. He had an appointment today, and while I wanted to follow him, I had schoo

CLAWS OF FATE

CLAWS OF FATE

"This is not possible. The Moon Goddess would not do this." "Clearly the Moon Goddess has a twisted, cruel sense of humor." "She would not pair me with—" He cut himself off abruptly, probably remembering we had an audience of dozens hanging on every single word. Around us, the pack members exchanged confused glances and whispered frantically. They could not feel what we felt, could not sense the cosmic joke that just destroyed both our worlds. But they could smell the sudden change in our scents, see the shock written plainly across our faces. "I need air right now." I pushed past him roughly toward the terrace doors, my legs unsteady beneath me, threatening to collapse.

Never Again

Never Again

I got my bottled water, sipped a little and shifted my mind to something else. Perhaps if someone would ask if series of unfortunate events is true, I would volunteer to testify. I was an achiever in high school, but when I got in college, I fell from being an achiever to nothing. I almost didn't make it to graduation. I was a disgrace to my family. I got married three times, but all ended up in divorce. At first, I thought they brought all these misfortunes into my life, but all my ex-husbands were happily married now, so I was convinced that I was the one who brought mishaps into them and to mine.

Captured By Her Werewolf Mate

Darius said, already moving towards the door. The three of them sprinted through the hallways, their footsteps echoing off the stone walls. As they approached the lobby, Klaus could smell the acrid scent of explosives. "He's here," he growled, his eyes scanning the area. And then, he saw him - the Humans Firster, standing by the column, a detonator in his hand. Klaus didn't hesitate. With a fierce snarl, he launched himself at the man, tackling him to the ground. The detonator flew out of the man's hand, and Davina quickly grabbed it, her heart racing with fear.

I mirrored his excitement and bumped my fist against his, a wide smile spreading across my face. "Good to see you too, Klaus," I said warmly. "I like your new glasses, by the way," I added, pointing to the stylish frames perched on his nose. He chuckled, adjusting the glasses as he sat down opposite me. "It's impressive that you noticed, so thanks," Klaus said, gesturing towards Klaus while wearing a playful smile. "Anyway, Clark's a bit grumpy today, so we'll take our leave first. See you later, guys," Klaus added, waving his hand as he began to tug at Clark's sleeve, urging him to leave.

At Break Time

But back to Pierre and his newfound insight into inheritance, would it be a way out? That's a lot of things to think about for someone who spends hours a day hungry. I can't think with my stomach, I have to be sensible. " Speaking alone? I jump back in fright. " Who is it? - I ask, instinctively touching my dagger under my dress. "It's okay, calm down, I don't want to hurt you. " So answer soon, who are you? " My name is Klaus. I live in the neighboring village of Lear. "How do I know if you're lying?
