Since I had deliberately hidden my injured right hand inside my loose white coat, Megan didn't notice it was hurt at all. She strode up to me and, without a word, slapped me across the face. "Donovan, as a doctor, how could you let jealousy drive you to kill your own patient? You're not even fit to be called human!" I pressed my tongue against the inside of my stinging cheek, and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted someone from Megan's group already discreetly pulling out a camera. I chuckled inwardly. "What nonsense are you talking about? When did I ever kill my patient? Pierre's surgery—"

He stopped when he felt his knuckles hurt badly. "WHY?" He screamed loudly, making the servants who stood near him flinching. He looked at his fist to see blood dripping from it. He stared at his bloody hand blankly, before pulling his hand away from the wall, leaving blood on his hand along with his knuckles. He let out a shaking sigh, and headed to his bedroom.

I came to a halt, but my knuckles were injured. "Are you blind?" he questioned as he opened the door. I tried to keep my tears at bay since I didn't want to cry in front of him. I don't want him to be perceived as a weak person. While I was blowing on my finger knuckles, Mr Martinez arrived with a med child. He seized my hand by the wrist and dapped the cotton on the knuckles of my fingers. Ouch! It stings! Don't make any pain sounds. Don't shed a tear. Hold on!

Her hand was clutching the sheet so hard, he could see the whites of her knuckles. Fuck. What’s wrong here?

Her eyes started to roll back. I let her go at the last second, even though I wanted to kill this bitch so bad. My hand throbbed from the force. My fingers felt sticky with her tears. She stumbled away, breathing hard and ragged. Her hands clutched her bruised throat, coughing and gasping for air. I punched the wall hard with my fist. My knuckles split open. Sharp pain shot up my arm. Warm blood trickled down my fingers. I shouted all my anger out loud. The raw sound echoed through the room, hurting my own ears.

The sound of her crying scraped against the inside of my skull. I raised my right hand and wiped a smear of warm fluid from the groove above my lip. I looked down at my knuckles. The skin was split where I had driven my fist into Kieran’s jaw. I stared at the blood on my skin, the reason for the blow completely missing from my head. The room was just noise. “Look at me, Cameron.”

I grabbed two limes and cut them into two eventually squeezing them onto the fresh wounds on my knuckles. “Arghh!” I moaned as I began to feel the burning sensation. I saw the extracts seeping right inside the wounds of my knuckles subsequently giving me this unexpectedly wonderful feeling of pain. I was hoping to lessen the pain but nothing happened that I desired. I still feel awful. I still feel disappointed. And I’m still dying inside to hold August.

He went to the broken screen and punched more and more in it. His knuckles started bleeding due to the tiny pieces of glass pierced into his knuckles but he cared less. He kept punching the screen until there was nothing left but it still didn't calm his anger down. He then walked towards the gate and started punching and kicking it in anger because his anger was not in control.

My head rings, and my vision blurs from the strike. My ears ring as I fumble on the ground. What the hell? His hits are hard, too hard. I look at his gloves and notice the tape around his knuckles outlining more than knuckles. Faint gold shining through split tape I realize why he's hitting with such force. He has fucking brass knuckles on! "Hey!" I yell at the guy standing outside the ring, trying to inform him of the knuckles. I run to the other side of the ring, wiping and smearing blood from my eye from my face.
