As I kept staring at his back ,I feel my eyes getting heavier and as he was about to speak I fell asleep and couldn't hear what he was about to say. The race for our lives is about to start. “No matter what, do not look back. Just run. Don’t worry about me. You run for those trees, Mia. Understand?” I look back over my shoulder at her. “Ok.” She swallows. I can see the fear and apprehension in her eyes. “Ok. On three. 1….2……3!” We burst from behind the rocks. Running like there no tomorrow in the direction of the forest. “Come on, Mia! Run!” I yell as she starts to slip back.
